The hosts were great and the house was very clean. I loved the fence in yard and Mountain Views from the porch. Great location - you were in the country but close enough to grocery stores and restaurants and a good central location to go check out near by towns. I miss it already!

Perfect and Private

My German Shepherd loved the fenced in yard. Very convenient to Asheville and Weaverville. Loved the privacy and owners were the best. Definitely would recommend.

Great Experience

Property managers went above and beyond during our stay.House had absolusty any and everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. Will be back next year.

Amazing place to stay

Me and 3 friends came to Asheville with our dog for a climbing trip! We loved staying at this property. There’s a lot of privacy with good views and the house was extremely comfortable. Our hosts were extremely attentive. The only issue we had was the address brought us and the Ubers we ordered to the neighbors house but the hosts provided us with detailed directions to easily correct our mistake. Would love to stay here again in the future.

Perfect little spot!

Everything was great! Plenty of room for our two dogs to run around. Really close to Asheville and lots of great places to eat. Communication was seamless. Highly recommend!

Always fabulous

We love staying here! The house is clean, well-equipped, the hosts are easy to communicate with, and we love the fenced in yard for our dogs. Close to Weaverville but still very private. Highly recommend!

Peaceful- will be back!!

We had such a relaxing stay. The pictures do not do the space or view justice. Our pups had so much fun running in the vast yard. The porch was so spacious and relaxing. We had to do some remote work and the internet worked beautifully. Jef and Karen were kind and thoughtful hosts. It felt like staying with family!

Well equipped mountain-view home

We had such a lovely stay for our long weekend in the NC mountains. We have stayed in several VRBOs and this home had everything we needed, thoughtfully laid out for guests. The wraparound porch offered lovely views of the mountain vistas, was peaceful, clean, and charming. Our dogs enjoyed the fenced in yard so much! Would definitely stay here again.

Sweet Escape

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Owner was responsive & very nice. House was clean and comfy. Loved the deck and fenced yard for the pups. Nights were peaceful on the covered deck. Close to everything Asheville offers. Wish we had discovered French Broad Chocolate earlier! Hope to come back one day.

Wonderful stay at cozy cabin short drive to Weaverville

Everything about this property was top notch- the communication with the hosts, the amenities (fenced in yard, large porch with sweeping views, kid friendly 1 story with gates, comfortable beds (pillows were heavenly), well stocked kitchen, etc. Truly a home away from home. Didn't use the grill or fire pit because it was too cold, but would definitely use next time. Great value and a short drive to downtown and Weaverville. Driveway was a little tight, but we'll marked and a good driver will get used to it after 1 or 2 times.

Perfect house for staying with dogs

We chose this house for a quick getaway to visit the Biltmore. It’s an easy 30 minute drive to Asheville. The house was wonderful, it was nicely decorated with a mixture of modern furniture and antiques. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans and anything you would need to cook. The beds were really comfortable as were the pillows. The table on the deck had a view of the mountains and there was a gas grill and fire pit. For me, the best thing was the set up for my dogs. The large yard was fully contained with a chain link fence. There were dog gates at the stairs on both ends of the porch so you could contain the dogs in the yard or on the porch. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and I would stay there again in a heartbeat..

Great visit with our dog

We're happy to echo the other reviews; this is a great place to stay. Very convenient to dog-friendly restaurants and breweries/cideries in Weaverville, Woodfin, and Asheville. A/C worked great, which was much appreciated because it was very hot during our stay Fourth of July weekend. I think many folks are selecting this place for the fenced yard for their dogs, so I'll add some details I was unsure of in advance. We have a 6' fence at home, and from the posted pictures this fence appeared lower, I was thinking 4'. The fence is actually more like 3' high. Our dog is not a fence-jumper and she was never in the yard unsupervised, but this could be an issue with some dogs. The fence (in conjunction with the retaining wall one one side) was solid and secure with no gaps. Also, the pictures show the stairs up to the deck from the driveway are wide open, but during our stay there was a folding gate at the top of the stairs (maybe 2' high) that could be opened to block the whole span of the stairs. It was a perfect feature for us and our dog. Prior to the visit, being the place is surrounded by woods, I was also concerned about ticks and such in the grassy yard but upon our arrival it was obviously freshly mowed well-cropped grass. Everything was in great condition, and it's obvious the owners care about their guests' experience and comfort. In summary, it was a great visit and we're already booked to return in the fall.

It is a great place both location wise (country but close to things) and for pets.. our dog loved being out without being tied up. Porch is delightful. Beds are a little high for a short person :-), but that's not a deal breaker. Will stay again!
