“Sat on the porch swing in the morning and drank coffee and listened to the river roll by. I highly recommend this property.” T. A. HOU, TX
My property is located right on the Big Thompson River, with a beautiful Japanese Style rock garden and a privacy fence. This is my home, my sanctuary, but I travel a lot. What that means to you, is you get to enjoy a house full of beautiful items and art from travels around the world …
What that also means, is that this home is NOT KID FRIENDLY… I love children but there are too many things to break. (Sorry – no kids.)
This home is best suited for 2 people as it has only one master bedroom. You can if necessary sleep two more people on the fold-out couch (4 max).
You are in the country and next to nature so you may see elk along the river, raccoons in our back yard, and an occasional black bear (I have a fog horn there to scare them away!)
Great for some quiet time, romantic time, a second honeymoon, a writing retreat, a grand adventure…
Here is what a few guests have said about it…
“Easy trip to Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park.”
M. T. - Atlanta, Georgia, United States

“Paul’s place is in an amazing location. Super peaceful and relaxing.”
P. O. - St. Louis, Missouri
“I didn’t want to leave! Absolute peace and tranquility in the beautiful nature. Last, but definitely not least, (probably mostly important actually) is Paul’s gift for hospitality”
J. M. - Indianapolis, Indiana
“The house is adjacent to a river, so it is quite relaxing.”
A. W. Montpelier, Vermont
“Fantastic location to town and it sits on the river. Sat on the porch swing in the morning and drank coffee and listened to river roll by. I highly recommend this property.”
T. A. Huston, Texas
“Location is great and the private riverfront is amazing.”
A. R. - Palo Alto, California,
You will have access to the whole upstairs of my home ( lower level is for storage)
Please note - I have fixed this cabin up a lot and there are still some things that need gentle love and attention.
BIG NOTE: I DO NOT HAVE A DISHWASHER OR A WASHER AND DRYER!
There is a great laundromat about 10 minutes away where you can either do laundry or use their dropoff service ( this is what I do) while you grab a cup of coffee and read your book.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
There is great wifi and TV… but cell reception in the canyon is spotty to none at all (when at the cabin, I connect my cell phone through the wifi.
I work from home, so 99% of the time, it's all good.
You will have the house to yourself and full access to my home. Except for the lower level, whhic is utilized for storage.
You will have both closet and shelf space for your clothes and belongings.
You can lounge around and enjoy all three levels of redwood decks, overlooking the river, complete with table/ chairs and swinging bench.
GOT QUESTIONS - MESSAGE ME.
Reserve soon as it books up early.

There is wifi - but cell reception can at times be spotty in the canyon. I work from home, though, and the majority of the time, it's all good.
