Discover the beauty of St. Croix from this spacious 1-bedroom apartment located on the East end near Christiansted in a very nice neighborhood. There is a private driveway with dedicated parking for your compact rental car (not enough room for a large vehicle to turn around), and a garden hose to rinse the sand from your feet after a day at the beach. The bedroom has a comfortable King size bed, with an additional Queen sofa sleeper in the living room. A full bath with a large shower let's you clean up after a long day of snorkeling or beaching, then prepare a meal in the kitchen with a stove/oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, and more pots & pans & dishes than you can imagine. Eat your meal inside, or carry it out to the patio for a more expansive view of the Caribbean Sea & Buck Island. Relax in the living room with some TV, or pour a cocktail and stroll to any one of 4 nearby beaches to enjoy one of the island's spectacularly colorful sunsets. One of these beaches - Chenay Bay - has Bungalows on the Bay Resort that has a beach bar with live music on selected nights. The apartment bedroom has 4 bookcases packed with every type of reading material, a brand new split AC unit, and Wi-Fi and a desk for a workspace (if needed). All bed linens and towels are provided, including a beach bag & beach towels. There is a washing machine in the kitchen and a clothesline on the patio for laundry. A selection of games is available to keep the little ones occupied. A Little Slice of Paradise is truly your home away from home while you explore the beauty of St. Croix! The island has many enticing aspects, including Duty-free shopping, lots of historical sites (see where Columbus landed in the New World on his 2nd voyage in 1493), and all the water sports you can imagine: swimming, snorkeling, SCUBA diving, fishing, boating, and para-sailing to name a few.

We moved here from South Carolina in January of 2024, and are retired and living the dream. We enjoy working around the house and all kinds of water sports, including diving, snorkeling, boating, and floating & drinking. We like being a host because this place is too nice not to share, and we want others to experience the wonders and beauty that are St. Croix.
Why they chose this property
We chose this neighborhood for 2 reasons: 1. The house had everything Myra was looking for in her new home, and 2. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and full of kind and friendly neighbors.
What makes this property unique
All the properties for rent on St. Croix have great features - some are better than ours and some are not. But what makes ours good is the location - not in Christiansted but within short driving distance, and within walking distance of 4 beaches. And it's a convenient base from which to go out and explore the fabulous island. Plus it has all the basic stuff needed to live - all you have to do is buy some food and alcohol and start living your dream!
