Steep climb to get here, but once at the top....WOW! Scenic, secluded and spacious. Our tribe of little ones absolutely loved the house and large, rolling yard. One actually cried when she had to leave. Highly recommend Heaven's Gate for a peaceful getaway.

Fantastic Mountain View and plenty of room for the entire family. Kitchen had everything you need. One real complaint. The yard crew came from 9am Saturday until 7pm. We were not aware they were coming and it would have been nice to have a heads up so we could have planned our day out. They were also looking in the windows of the basement where our children were staying and that scared them. In the future I would just give guests a heads up.

Lovely home! Spacious enough for my grandchildren to have their space and enjoy as did the adults.
Our annual tradition of making gingerbread cookies!
Cozy fire for my daughter and her nephew to catch up on life.

Guys Trip

Great location for guys fly fishing trip. Setup of house provided everyone their own bed. Well stocked Great communications Best of all was the view. Fire pit overlooking lake and mountains at sunset and viewing stars was a huge highlight!

Labor Day Weekend on the mountain top

This cabin sits on a mountain pasture and looks out over Glenville lake. The sunsets and star gazing are amazing. We had 5 kids ages 9-15 with us and they loved the pool table and great playroom. We had a big whiffle ball game out in the big yard, followed by dinner and a camp fire. A great spot!

Perfect for our Cousins reunion

We get together every year ages 4-50. We have lots of boys ages 9-15 and they absolutely loved the huge lawn to play football and capture the flag. Spectacular views from the porch and extremely private. Highly recommend!

Great getaway, amazing views

Our family had a wonderful time and look forward to staying again! Lots of space, close to the lake and Cashiers, we saw bears a few nights on property and lots of other wildlife, and enjoyed the firepit every night. The house does not have AC, which we didn't realize, but the owner was quick to respond during checkin and once the temps dropped in the afternoon, we had no problems (there are lots of fans to keep the air moving during the day). We would absolutely stay here again!

Large & Comfortable Home on Beautiful Lot

We had a group of 9 stay here for an extended weekend for a lake and golf trip. The home was large enough to comfortably sleep all 9. The deck has beautiful views of the lake and sunset. Large front yard with wildlife. Close to the marina where we rented a boat for the day to enjoy the lake. We enjoyed out stay and Susan was a great host.

Great place!

So much room!!! Each family had their own room and bathroom, plenty of group space too! The house has gorgeous views and something for everyone. The kids loved the game room, and the basement with the pool table. The location was close to everything, great hikes, grocery store, a cute downtown Cashiers only a 10 minute drive. We will definitely be back!

Mountain lake vacation

The mountain lodge was exactly as listed. Being our first mountains vacation, we pleasantly overwhelmed with the location, spacious living area, amenities available. While the rest of the country was sweltering in a heat wave, we enjoyed cool nights! Susan is the host pleasant and accommodating host. Highly recommend!
