About the host
Hosted by Meshell Zwicker

I grew up in San Diego... elementary thru high school. Lived most of my life in this canyon range. My former husband and I bought this home 30 + years ago. First home I've ever purchased. I bought my husband out at the top of the market, when he needed his freedom. Since then I've lived here with family members, friends with children, roommates, partners and alone. I've also hosted local Singer-Songwriter Concerts on my decks overlooking the golf course and nature preserve for 8 years. I've grown up and evolved here. I'm deeply in love with the Italian Stone Pine Tree that arches over and protects the land. Hawks love her top branches. There is something mysteriously healing about this place... everyone says so. I feel like I need to break out a bit, expand out of habitual ways of living. And in all honesty, at this point in my life, with my career at an inconvenient lull, I could use the income my stunning property could create. I hope you come and feel healing and your own whimsy, while I broaden my horizons. I'll be back eventually.
Why they chose this property
When we first saw this house and walked around back to peer through the windows we were instantly struck by the rare and deep quiet here. Living in San Diego most of my life, somehow this Bay park area remained a secret to me until that first night. It was love at first sight and we could easily see her potential. the first 3 years were remodel years.
What makes this property unique
Besides the sheer awe of this giant canyon and the nature and the quiet, there seems to be an energy of healing here. everyone says so.
