About this property
Traditional Downtown Home - Amazing View
Historic Downtown Best View Location. Live like a local, walking distance everywhere in the old Puerto Vallarta: Malecon, Zona Romantica, Los Muertos Beach, Shopping and Dinning best places. Windy & Fresh, every room has a view. Ample Spaces. A Real Home.
Location, Location, Location. This is a private Condo we want to share with friends & visitors. It is one of only 9 apartments in an exclusive, traditional Spanish-Colonial building. It is located on the third block from the sea-promenade called Malecón, at Puerto Vallarta's Old Town's geographical center, high on the hill but near the ocean, so you get an awesome view of the whole bay and town, and still hear the sound of waves!!
Located on Condominios "Marina del Rey" You can see the sign on the building door on the G. Street View. Our condo is on the street level to one side of the street, but since we are in the "Cerro" or Hill, the other side has an ample view of the bay and you actually are in the heights of the "Centro" or Downtown.
Great to watch mind blowing sunsets, whales & dolphins, sunbathing iguanas, tropical birds, pirate ships & fireworks without moving from your living room.
Bilingual management in English and Spanish.
This is Vallarta's downtown, built for living, before it was a touristic haven. Very near of Elizabeth Taylor's and Richard Burton's home. In the middle of it all, but still, away from traffic. Walk down one block and get into the shopping district, the best reviewed restaurants, galleries, and our traditional Malecón and Guadalupe's Cathedral. Sense the aromas of street flowers at night; walk to Los Muertos Beach, Rio Cuale, Handcraft market and everything PV's Downtown has to offer. 10 Minute walk to Zona Romántica.
The hill creates an air current so we don't have or need air conditioning, It is naturally fresh and windy the whole time, and has celling and standing fans in every bedroom if needed. It is an open, sustainable and traditional space, not the closed feeling of the AC. Previous reviews are our best recommendation.
Two examples: "The condo is cooled naturally by the cool sea breezes." "The open air and fans worked very well. I was a bit leery that we were going to be too hot as we all tend to like sleeping cold, but despite hot weather, we were nice and comfortable".
A writer's paradise, with wireless fast speed internet connection. Fine Mexican decoration. We just acquired new mattresses, new stove, microwave oven and wooden exterior chairs & hammock for you to relax watching every sunset. All our red cedar balcony doors have been renovated.
On booking, you get my personal recommendations for fine lunch & dinning as well as economic, great options for everyday. No tourist traps guaranteed!
This condo is suited for families, senior citizens and quiet young people. If you come to Puerto Vallarta searching for the wild side and party time, this might not be the place for you. Thank you.

What makes this property unique
It is a real home, not a rental unit. Really big and with beautiful traditional architecture. You'll live like a local. In the middle of down town, but high on the hill, away from traffic and noise. (Well, Vallarta is noisy, that's for sure) You get to see fireworks everynight from the Pirate boat.
