Cozy Mountain Retreat – Perfect for 2 Guests | Near Big Bear, Oak Glen & More
Welcome a mountain escape! This 1-bedroom mountain home with a cabin feel, built in 1923, offers a cozy and rustic retreat for two guests seeking peace, simplicity, and fresh alpine air. Best suited for those familiar with and who appreciate authentic mountain living, this unique space blends historic charm with natural serenity.
Inside, the layout is similar to a studio with an attached bedroom, creating a warm, intimate setting ideal for couples or solo travelers. Please note: No pets are allowed.
Located in a quiet mountain community, you’ll be just a short drive or hike away from several popular attractions:
Big Bear Lake
Vivian Creek Trail
Jenks Lake
Oak Glen’s apple orchards
And a local Mexican restaurant just down the street!
Whether you're hiking, relaxing, or exploring local gems, this cozy home is a great base for your mountain adventures. And as your host, I will add that the home has blackout curtains and you will get some great sleep up there, sleeping in the bedroom or on the couch!
Book your stay and unwind in the peaceful charm of the mountains!
IMPORTANT INFO - *No Pets.
* Be mindful that this is a real mountain town with animals and insects all around, we are on their turf, so occasionally you may see a bug from time to time or hear Squirrels & Chipmunks up on the roof playing.
* I purchased this home in 2021 from some residents who didn't take the best care of it, so I am continuing to make improvements & upgrades on the property and show it some love. Some upgrades iv done include top-notch eco-friendly double pane windows (to keep heat in), the bathroom, stove, refrigerator and deck. You may notice small stains on the kitchen floor or walls won't come out due to the previous owner. This home is more like a cabin in the woods than a luxury home or apartment and the price has been adjusted to reflect that and is why it remains one of the more inexpensive options in town.

I have been a SuperHost with Airbnb for the past 3 years and decided to join the Vrbo family as well. I have talked to so many awesome, friendly guests from all over the country who have stayed at this property, and look forward to more!
