About the host
Hosted by Kerry Batres

I currently live in Vermont with my husband and was born in Tucson. My father lived in AZ and I would visit every summer, and attended the University of Arizona. Tucson holds a special place in my heart, and Arizona is a magical state to explore. My grandparents owned an apartment building, and I grew up helping them with property management. It was always a dream of mine to have my own properties and create comfortable environments for guests to enjoy. I love to cook, hike, go on adventures with my family and discover new places.
Why they chose this property
When I attended the University of Arizona, living in Tucson, I would walk around the neighborhoods surrounding the University picking out my favorite houses. Imagining what it would be like to live there, surrounded by the history and community of the beginnings of Tucson, when it was the old pueblo. The unique architecture of each house, the landscape, and the walkability create an inviting community environment.
What makes this property unique
The classic 1930s bungalow style has been preserved and updated for ease and comfort. The proximity to the University of Arizona, restaurants, shops, and bars gives visitors the opportunity to experience the charm and community of Tucson.
