This gorgeous luxury mountain cabin-style home has 3 bedrooms with two master suites. The cabin also has two living rooms, and three fireplaces and is comfortably furnished throughout. This home has numerous amenities including; granite countertops, hickory cabinetry, copper sinks, and hardwood floors in every room. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless appliances. The dining room flows to the living room where a cozy fireplace and two gliders await you! TVs are situated in every room for easy viewing.
Step out the back door onto the covered veranda and throw out your fishing line. This home is located on top of its private fast-moving creek. Yes, fishing is allowed. The trout are mostly small but fun to catch! Enjoy the mountain breezes and sounds of the rushing water as you relax on the porch and picnic on your private creek bank. The wildlife is abundant, including deer, black bear, turkey, and birds of all kinds. The property is surrounded by wildflowers, mountain laurels, hardwoods, and a rare buckeye tree for good luck! This estate is beautiful all year round! Extensive stonework throughout, with two outdoor fire pits, one for cooking and the other for burning logs and roasting marshmallows.
Every season offers activities for the whole family. You'll be amazed at all the beautiful bright fall colors that last well into November. Hiawassee is the home of the Georgia Mountain Fair, with seasonal festivals and concerts all year. Enjoy tubing, white water rafting, biking, hiking, horseback riding, water skiing, shops, museums, dining, and beautiful scenic drives.

There are also a few breweries in the area, including Etowah Brewery, Grumpy Old Men Brewing, and Fannin Brewing Company for the beer drinkers in your crew. A 10-minute drive will bring you to the Hiawassee Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds. Home to numerous events throughout the year including the Georgia Mountain Fair, Georgia Mountain Moonshine Cruiz-In, the Georgia Mountain Fall Festival, as well as tons of concerts. Twenty minutes away, you'll find downtown Helen. This charming mountain town is home to cobblestone walkways, tons of restaurants, wineries, quaint shops, and ample hiking opportunities. After a hike, grab some traditional Bavarian grub at the Old Bavaria Inn or Mullers Famous Fried Cheese Cafe! If you prefer water to land, rent a boat and spend some time on Lake Chatuge. Whether you’re kayaking, tubing, water skiing, or just casting a line and reeling in fish, you’re guaranteed a peaceful day on the lake.
There are NO indoor hidden cameras on this property! There are only outdoor cameras for the security of the cabin and guests.

You can rest assured that we are working hard to keep the cabin as sanitized as possible. All surfaces, countertops, and the floor are sanitized after each guest leaves.

Beautiful, peaceful and that creek….

This is an amazing property if you are looking for some peace and relaxation. The creek is amazing! Lucille was wonderful to work with before and during our stay. She went out of her way to make sure our vacation was perfect. We can’t wait to come back! This cabin was perfect for our family trip!

Wonderful Fall Getaway

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. It was exactly as described and Lucille was an amazing host. We enjoyed chilly nights and warm days sitting on the porch listening to the creek. I highly recommend this rental and we look forward to returning with our family next time.

Cozy, right on little creek, so quiet. Everything was very clean!

Boys enjoyed wading in the little creek, Smores by the firepit, kitchen was well equipped. Close to several points of intetest and shopping close by. We will come back.here again!!

Wonderful weekend - will go again!

The home was just as described. Very clean and cozy accommodations. The porch was so peaceful being able to hear and see the creek and the beauty of the surroundings. Great Creekside Cabin

This home is awesome. You can’t get any closer to the creek than here. The home is spacious and clean, with everything you need. Communication with the owner is great, she responds timely to any questions. We had 3 couples and had a great time here.

Fabulous Weekend with the Family!

This vacation property is stunning inside and out, and the property manager is great! If you are looking to vacation in the Mountains and want a stream close by, you can't get any closer than this one. Just sit on the back porch, relax to the sound of the stream and let all your cares float away. Hope to return soon!

Thanksgiving 2023

Spent 6 nights making precious family memories. This cabin was clean, spacious and full of amenities. From the relaxing sounds of the flowing creek to the numerous fireplaces, we all totally enjoyed our stay. We are planning a return trip during the summer months too. Peaceful Paradise

Amazing Cabin and Property

We have stayed at this cabin in the past and we always thoroughly enjoy our stay here. The cabin is clean and well kept with everything we could possibly need from the stocked kitchen to the living room to the cozy bedrooms. We especially like the bedroom with the remote fireplace and large TV. We had a dusting of snow which made it very special! There are lots of nice restaurants to eat at as well as hiking and shopping/antiquing. I would defiantly recommend this place and we will be back soon!

Beautiful peaceful cabin on a rushing creek!

The cabin was exactly as depicted on the listing. Lovely furnishings, very clean inside, two areas to separate and watch tv or play games at the game table. Gorgeous creek literally at your feet, beautiful grounds with big shade trees, large hydrangea bushes and rose of Sharon. Outside could use a good pressure cleaning. If we’re in the area we’d definitely stay again.

September Getaway

Upon arrival the property is breathtaking and impressive, as a previous cabin rental owner I would recommend a stay here. Inside is just as beautiful and very clean. They back porch area is equally impressive as the creek runs the entire length under the home and the sound is absolutely relaxing. I will recommend this to all my friends and family. Mountain creek cabin

This is a beautifully appointed home that is absolutely wonderful. The rambling creek with mini waterfalls is amazing! We spent many hours at all times during the early mornings, throughout the day and into the evenings out on the glorious back deck over the creek! This cabin is truly a little slice of Heaven, with great fireplaces, wood ceilings, king sized beds, game room, beautifully stocked kitchen, and a wonderful family room! We are already talking about another trip here next year when the rhododendrons are blooming!

CAN WE LIVE HERE??

Oh my goodness, not enough time to say all the good things about this property! The rain put a damper on enjoying the outside fire pit & making smores, but that didn't hinder our stay. If you're going around Christmas, it's decorated just like the pics. So cozy & quaint. You can tell the owner takes great pride in her hideaway. Do yourself a favor & rent this, you won't be disappointed.

Room to relax

We had 4 guys getting away for spiritual discussion. Plenty of room to be alone, relax, hike and chill out. Very clean. Maybe have instructions in the kitchen. They were posted on the interior garage access. Very good instructions. I just didn’t see them right away. Owner was terrific! Very responsive.

Absolutely Beautiful

To say this place is amazing is an understatement. Throughout the entire home there was no detail that was overlooked. From everything you could need in the kitchen to extra blankets and pillows, we wanted for nothing. The decor of the house and the comfort of the furnishings were without flaw. The outdoor living spaces were absolutely outstanding. Walking out the back door where the beautiful creek was rushing by was incomparable to anywhere we have stayed on our many visits to the mountains. This home will truly make a vacation unforgettable. If I could give it ten stars, I would.

Why they chose this property

This is an upscale luxury rental. This is our vacation home and it is fully furnished. When you come to visit everything is exceptionally clean and well maintained. All you need to bring with you are your clothes and food. We expect our guests to treat this little piece of Heaven with respect. If you are looking for a wonderful place to vacation, this is it!! If you are looking for a 'Party House' this is not what you are looking for.
Please NO SMOKING indoors and NO PETS!

What makes this property unique

From the moment you step out of your car, you can hear the sound of the rushing water. Swallows Creek is literally right outside the back door! There are very few homes this close to a creek. The property is very flat and easy to walk around on with a large grassy area for kids to play. We also have a variety of flowers that bloom starting in the early spring throughout the late fall.
