The room was small but quite nice for 2. It was secure and the neighborhood is in a working class area. Zi's Pizzaria across the street is fantastic with great service. There is a full size Rey grocery 3 blocks distant. There is a dance school across the street and we sat on the balcony and listened to their rehearsal all Sunday afternoon.
For whatever reason, the proprietor didn't meet us at the door as arranged in advance. The security guard next door called the housekeeper who came and let us in. The next morning we happened to run into a staff member and the housekeeper again. They referred us to the manager, and I left her a message but she didn't return my call. I saw her at the desk on Monday morning but she didn't have much to say.
So, after a bit of a rough start, she did help get us a ride to our next destination, which we greatly appreciated.
So, if communication can improve, they are well recommended.
