Kimberly Creek Retreat was founded and developed by Mike Kennedy and Chris Petersen. They both had a desire to bring something unique and family-friendly to Nebraska. Both families are intimately involved in the construction and operation. Kimberly Creek Retreat was the first glamping site established with domes in Nebraska. Our goal is to have families have a great customer experience with the luxuries of home. It is not camping; it is glamping.

Why they chose this property

Kimberly Creek Retreat is situated on over 20 acres of wooded land that features hills, cliffs, Pawnee Creek, fire pits, hiking trails, picnic areas, and much more. Our activities include experiences for both kids and adults. We are located minutes from Mahoney State Park, the SAC Museum, the Henry Doorly Safari Park, wineries, and small town boutiques.

We focus on maintaining a natural environment that is a healthy ecosystem, which supports both wildlife and our Glampers. We cannot guarantee that you will see specific species of wildlife during your stay, as they are just that, wild. But do not be surprised if you hear coyotes or owls as you sit by your fire.
