The property was absolutely beautiful and just as shown in the photos. The hot water in the master bath shower did not get hot so we had to go upstairs to shower. There was ONE trash can in the entire house and that was in the kitchen. No bathroom trash cans which makes no sense to me. I rated this stay only two stars because of the host. I contacted her prior to my stay to see if I could have a dinner one night, to which she said that I couldn’t. That was fine, we went to a restaurant. But she stated that my daughter (who we were in town for graduation) couldn’t come to the house at all. She immediately made a threat of a negative review. She stated that no one besides the number of guests listed in the reservation were allowed at the house. Her listing didn’t state that or else I wouldn’t have booked. It only stated “No more than 7 overnight guests”. Then after our conversation, she sent an email requesting the name and age of the guests for my listing. I’ve never had to provide that information. At this point I felt like I was checking in for a prison visit, and felt a bit racially discriminated against. I understand that her property is in a quiet neighborhood, but if she’s so uptight about her property then why list it. It left us spending the money to go there to shower and sleep. That was unfortunate. I’d book again, if I only need it as a place to shower and sleep.
