Seas the Day includes 2 single kayaks for your enjoyment throughout your stay. Launch straight from your private dock and take a stroll through the canals and bays of this beautiful area. This home is spacious and beautifully appointed 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom canal front cottage with a large living/dining room, kitchen, family room, and idyllic patio. Two queen bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room provide plenty of comfortable sleeping for 6! (Under the bed in the second bedroom you'll find a luxury mattress topper for the sleeper sofa for maximum comfort!)

There is a beautiful backyard with a private deep water dock, where you will have access straight out to Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico! Located on a peaceful and quiet street on the quiet north end of Anna Maria, yet within a bike ride or walking distance to nearby Anna Maria City Pier, Tampa Bay, Gulf of Mexico, restaurants, stores, ice cream parlors and much more.

When you are ready to explore the island, you can hop on board the free AMI trolley that runs daily along the island and has a stop just a short walk from your door.

Seas The Day is a dog friendly property! If you have added a pet to your reservation under number of pets, the fee of $150 per plus tax has been added to your reservation total. ** 1 Dog Limit **

Needs a refresh!

The property is in a lovely location, but it needs a refresh - there are cracks in the floor in the living room and in the en suite there's staining where the shower has leaked and around the toilet. There is a stain on the bedroom ceiling where there's clearly been a leak. Some of the power sockets are operated by switches positioned where you'd expect the light switches to be - this is explained by small handwritten, faded notes taped next to the switches, not helpful when you arrive in the dark and there isn't a light switch inside the front door! The bedside lamp in the bedroom was held together with tape, which we didn't realise until we tried to operate it and the lightbulb fitting detached from the lamp, exposing the wiring! It was disappointing to find there were no coffee filters, foil or clingfilm in the kitchen, and only 2 dishwasher tablets. When arriving for a holiday, you don't expect to need to buy things that are only available in bulk. If we had bought them, would they have been left for the next guests? I can't believe no one buys and leaves things there, especially as a coffee machine is provided. The instructions for the pool alarms on the doors are faded and difficult to read (one more so than the other). Has the potential to be a lovely property, but could do with some love to deliver the wow factor!

Nice relaxing place to stay but

This house was clean and very nice on a beautiful canal that was in a great location for us. We very much enjoyed the house except for a few things. My complaints are the master bedroom mattress needs to be replaced as it was miserable sleeping all week for me. I woke up throughout the night and woke up in the morning with major back pains. The other couple said there was a mattress topper in the other bedroom and that bed was ok. We own vacation rental properties so it was a bit baffling to me that there were so many miscellaneous plates and cups for a house with 2 bedrooms but there were absolutely no spices (except for salt & pepper) and NO COFFEE or filters. Our guests constantly leave things for future guests that they can't finish and our management company doesn't let the cleaning crew clean out the cupboards. Not to mention, the rental management company we use makes sure the house is stocked with a lot of things we had to buy at this place like soap, shampoo, dish soap, TP, paper towels. laundry soap. At a minimum you should absolutely make sure there are coffee filters and coffee in the houses. We didn't get in until almost midnight so the following morning as soon as I woke up I had go to the store before any of us could even enjoy a cup of coffee on the dock. Oh one more thing put a knife sharpener in the house because the knives are dull as could be.

Beach Christmas

We had an issue with the hot water heater in the garage. Property manager was very responsive and they did an excellent job at communicating and ensuring we still had what we needed for our stay. Beds were a bit uncomfortable and property could use some updates and refresh. Location was great! Enjoyed our stay!

This was a delightful little house in a great area. Master bedroom and bath were very comfortable. Guest bath was dated, but fine. Kitchen had lots of dishes, pots and pans, etc. Stove was old, but worked fine. Would rent again.

6 Week Stay

The house is in a good location, nice area! The house itself: The range/microwave were a bit too dated. There are some rugs area rugs that were not very nice and need to be replaced. They felt/looked dirty. The kitchen is very dated (range/microwave). The skillets were too far gone to use, I had to purchase a new one. The ceiling fans are also dated and need replaced...some are noisy. The blender does not operate, and a some exterior (front porch) lights do not work. I appreciated the kayaks, but it was difficult to get in and out...the dock needs a ladder to help that. The house has great potential with some updating. Overall a pleasant stay! I will see you guys next year in a different house. The AMI staff is excellent to work with!! Thank you.
