I am surprised to see this place still available to rent. Our family stayed there in December and it was a horrible experience. The host made us feel very uncomfortable, the kitchen was filthy. There was spaghetti sauces all over the stove top, a rotten banana in the cabinet along with other food items. Dirty coffee maker and the dishwasher had mold in it and did not work. Mold in the bathrooms, mold on curtains in the bedrooms, glass missing from the stain glass windows so cold air blew in and broken furniture. When we arrived he made us put on slippers and personally took our shoes and lined them up on the wall. We were uncomfortable with him touching our personal items. But the worst part is we believe he lives in the garage. The host may respond he offered to clean the place but that would have taken weeks to get it to a level where we would have stayed. We were there for only 10 hours and left. I did get money back from VRBO after submitting a 57-page case study showing the dirt, mold, broken windows and chairs, and evidence he lived in the garage.
