As much as I love how beautiful this home was I don’t feel I was treated the way I expected to be. Especially after reading the amazing reviews. The first issue I have is that our comings and goings were being monitored. We were accused of smoking in the home, but never once did. Then I received the check out instructions with a clear check out time for 4pm. I was told later after I had sat down to lunch that it was a typo and we Needed to vacate the premises. I left my 100 lunch sitting untouched at the restaurant to hurry my kids out and on our way. The home is very pretty though, and super functional and family friendly. I just didn’t love how I was treated after spending money for a weeks stay.

We’d like to respectfully clarify a few points for transparency for future guests. Our home is equipped with exterior security cameras only, which are clearly disclosed in our listing and house rules. These are in place solely for safety and property protection and are not used to monitor guests’ personal activities. While briefly turning off notifications, we noticed someone entering the home holding what appeared to be a cigarette or cigar. This was not an accusation, but a precautionary reminder, as smoking is strictly prohibited inside the home to protect all guests.
Regarding checkout, the confirmed checkout time was 11:00 AM, as stated in the booking details and in multiple messages prior to departure. Unfortunately, a typo in one automated message incorrectly stated 4:00 PM, which we immediately corrected once noticed. We sincerely regret the inconvenience this caused and understand how frustrating that situation must have been.
Our intention is always to treat guests with respect and fairness, and we are truly sorry that this experience felt otherwise. We value all feedback, as it helps us improve communication and prevent confusion moving forward. Thank you again for staying with us and for taking the time to share your experience.
