Absolutely excellent, each room had a bathroom, and tvs which is nice when you want to relax in bed. It’s close to town and the property is perfect for hanging with family swimming and or relaxing in the hot tub. The aesthetic of the house and rooms are beautiful and it was overall very clean and nice. This has been one of the best VRBO’S I’ve been in. Thank you to the owners we had a wonderful stay this week!

Our group of 7 ladies had a lovely 2 night stay at this amazing home. Highly recommend for large groups or family. Beds were comfy and a bonus that each of us had our own bathroom.The hot tub was amazing but we didn't get a chance to use the pool. Our host Megan was amazing and very accommodating!!Will definitely recommend to anyone heading to the Truro, Bible Hill area.

We stayed at this lovely house to celebrate my Mom and Aunt's 70th birthday. The hosts were very communicative and even went above and beyond with a small gift basket for the birthday girls. We had a group of 14 on our family trip so the multiple bedrooms with pullout sofas were a great option! The kitchen was well appointed, along with laundry, towels and extra toiletries if anyone forgot anything! Hot tub and pool are meticulously maintained, along with lawn and garden. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

It was a wonderful retreat for a group of friends to just spend time together and catch up. The pool was enjoyed by all, and we loved having a space to ourselves. Hope to return! Lots of space, it was clean and quiet, easy to find and only minutes away from restaurants and grocery store (for snacks).

Great property for a large group of people. Clean, spacious and a great location, only minutes to central Truro.Owners were very easy to deal with and responded within minutes if we need anything. (Extra clothes hangers and recycle bags for our group. Resolved inside an hour).Would definitely go back again.

We just finished a 5 day stay here for our Christmas family reunion (9 adults, 3 kids and Wilson the dog!). Megan and Chris, our hosts, were great. Right from when we booked our stay months ago to when we left, they have been accessible for our every needs. They have been a joy to work with. The house was awesome and was stocked everything we might need. It is a large space which gave us plenty of room to have fun. We would recommend their place for any large group!

The home was super spacious for my family of 5 and another family of 4. There were plenty of spaces for everyone to congregate. The pool and hot tub were huge features we loved. Each bedroom had an en-suite which was amazing. A significant amount of thoughtful amenities.

We honestly can’t believe how lucky we were to stay in such a beautiful, well maintained property with the loveliest hosts who had thought of every tiny detail and made it so special. We named this property after our son who battled a rare form of paediatric cancer. He passed away at the age of five after a two year battle, but not before teaching us some of the most amazing life lessons. One of those being that life is short and you must not be afraid to take chances and offer as much love as you have to give those around you.

Why they chose this property

Truro has been our hometown for 40 years and this country property is the most relaxing and gorgeous area for us to settle for our retirement

While our gorgeous country property is bordered by huge trees and farmland, We are actually only a quick two minute drive into downtown Truro where you can access all Sorts of amazing activities and food establishments. It’s the perfect jumping off place for your Nova Scotia vacation.
