We had a lovely time at this cozy cabin! The scenery was beautiful and we loved sitting on the porch listening to the river. It had everything we needed and we only wished we could stay longer!
We had a great stay! The cabin was decorated so cute and it was very clean and quite cozy. It is near the river and a short drivw to Wise Rivwr, Dewey. Wisdom.
This was the 2nd time I have had the pleasure of staying in the Cabins. The hosts are very welcoming and treated us as family. I would highly recommend the cabins for anyone coming to the area.
I know I'll be back!
Second time at this cabin and it was exactly as I remembered it. It’s clean, quiet and perfectly located for a fly fisherman. We cooked breakfast then fished all day and then came back and grilled steaks before hitting the evening hatch each night right behind the cabin.
I’ll be back.
The pictures in this listing don’t do the property justice. This is the best kept secret in the Big Hole. Very nice and clean cabin, with anything you could ever need. Super fast internet! Amazing location right on the river! Watering hole within 100 yards of the cabin. We plan to be back many times in the future!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cabin has such great charm. The kitchen is well setup and had everything we needed. It is an open cabin with the upstairs bedroom having a railing separating it from the downstairs - just to keep in mind if people have different bedtimes, we brought a white noise sound machine for our early bedtimer upstairs, which worked great! The front porch was also enjoyable to hangout on at sunset with a blanket. It really is just steps to the river where my husband and I enjoyed fishing along the shore and on the rocks. There is a quaint Montana bar at the front of the neighborhood where we enjoyed stopping in for a cold beverage and recommend others to do the same.
What a nice cabin and such a great location for a fishing or hiking/mountain trip. The cabin is downstream of the Wise river and the river in this area stays cold even as the rest of the river goes under hoot owl restrictions.
The accommodations were comfortable, and a perfect log cabin feel. And the fishing was outstanding even when I stayed in August. Caught the trico hatch and landed lots of trout and even 3 Grayling. Also som BIG browns on streamers in the early morning.
I’d love to return when I am back in MT.

We never even got to stay because the location info was completely wrong. The map link didn’t work, and the address provided was inaccurate. I messaged the host multiple times and never received a reply. We ended up driving four hours back home. Don’t waste your time booking here—you won’t be able to find it, and you won’t get any help. Still haven’t heard back from the host, but I’m guessing this one-star review might finally get their attention.

I left you the directions you have been the only visitor that could not find the cabins this summer. I don’t appreciate your review our internet was done because we do live in the country and that happens. I’m sorry that it happened I can refund your money
We looked at hotels halfway between Jackson Wy and Whitefish Mt. I found this beautiful cabin on the river and it was a pure delight. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed. I bought fresh trout in a Jackson that we cooked on the grill. We enjoyed a glass of wine on the deck, the beds were comfortable and it was very quiet.
The exact location did not show up on our GPS so we had to stop at a fly fishing store to find out where to find the. Cabin. I’d definitely recommend this property but the host needs to send written directions so that it can be easily located.
The post office is in Divide- however the cabin is between Wise & Dewey @ Thompson Corner. Drive around the back of Thompson Bar - (it maybe o.o.b. ) bring your fishing pole.
It’s was a perfect halfway point to from Glacier National Park to Salt Lake City. The cabin had everything we needed for the time we spent there. Very relaxing just sitting on the porch listening to the river. We even made a furry friend that came from a neighboring property to visit. Hopefully we we will be back again. Thank you Dawna.
Perfect. Nice appliances for cooking, and the beds were comfortable. Has a second cabin next door if you have a larger group. Water was a little high, but I was able to fish on the property.
Wonderful Cabin! We enjoyed our stay and the sound of the River with a cup of coffee on the porch. Priceless!
