This 2 bedroom/ 2 bath townhouse has everything you need for that once in a lifetime vacation to remember. Our small, quiet complex is located just north of Kaanapali and minutes to Lahaina Towne.

We are very close to shopping, restaurants and all beach activities. Take a leisurely stroll to the local Farmers market. Dine at our many fine restaurants serving the freshest Island fish and local cuisine. Experience the nightlife of Kaanapali and Lahaina Towne. Take a surfing lesson, drive to heavenly Hana or Haleakala crater or better yet, simply snooze away the day....

There is an in-ground pool right at the oceans edge, private lanai perfect for sunset viewing, free onsite parking, cable, local phone, gas BBQ and free wireless internet access. Relax in comfort in our updated condo a mere 30 ft from the waters edge.

The private Master bedroom is on the 2nd floor and boasts a California King size bed. Attached master bath including walk-in shower. The 2nd bedroom on the main floor has twin beds and 2nd full bath with walk-in shower.

Full kitchen has all basic amenities including pots/pans and cooking utensils. Ceiling fans, flat screen TV, DVD/CD player provides all the comforts of home. All linens, beach towels and anything else you may need await you.

We had the best time! This listing was exactly as described and we had the most comfortable stay there. The pantry was well stocked, kitchen cabinets were filled with everything we needed to cook. The beds were all very comfortable and the view is just priceless. We were greeted with the whales in the distance and the turtles right by the pool. Great communication with the property management team, and the unit was spotless. You would definitely stay here again next time we are in Maui. Thank you for making our trip a comfortable one!

We were thrilled with how many whales and turtles we saw this year. We have stayed at the Kulakane for at least 5 years and have loved every minute of it. Debbie and Tony are great managers of the property, always available to help. The only sort of negative is the furnishings are getting worn but I can live with that!We have already planned a stay for next year.

Just kind of meh.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: No AC, and the ceiling fan in the master barely worked. The bed in the master is cheap and very uncomfortable. The combination of the three made for 10 nights of lackluster sleep. Additionally, there was no smoke detector and electrical outlets were touchy and some missing cover plates.

Perfect! Loved the lanai and the reading loft. Turtles out front daily, and lovely waves to sleep to each night. I’ll def be back. This was our first trip to Maui. Great location! Cant get any closer to the water than this. Appreciate the small facility vs the huge complexes further south. Leaving my heart.

Paradise at the Kulakane

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed 28 days at the Kulakane in March. Couldn't have asked for anything better. Location, Location, Location! Our view was great. We watched whales from our Lanai and turtles feeding right in front of our condo. Debbie and Tony are the best, any time I asked for something or had a question they were right there. If you are a light sleeper you might want to bring earplugs as there are roosters crowing, dogs barking and etc. They didn't bother us but it's what it is, life on Maui. I guess you can tell we love the place and have already booked 4 weeks next year. You'll love it!

Amazing Maui Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at The Kulakane for a week and wished it had been longer. The condo itself was very clean and well appointed, with a full kitchen - which made it easy for us to cook some meals and feel much more like home. We loved the location as well, very close to Lahaina and walking distance to several local shops and restaurants. Each condo has it's own patio/deck, facing into some of the most amazing sunsets any if us have seen. We had rainbows almost every day, and daily visits from the group of sea turtles who come within feet of the Kulakane for hours every day. The community of people here were very friendly and welcoming, they have a party every Friday at sundown, we even got to blow on a conch shell, which was cool! It was an amazing experience, we would definitely recommend staying here , and will hopefully be back soon!

Unit 305 was very clean as were the bedding, towels, etc. Green Turtles, whale blows and great sunsets! The unit could use some furniture and appliance refurbishing/updating - Microwave turn table did not work, lamp shade was falling apart, chipped candle holder, etc. But overall, it was in good condition and comfortable. Everything was clean, plenty of sleeping space and AMAZING views! This condo was even better in person than in the photos. We stayed for 10 nights, and each day saw tons of sea turtles! One thing my kids loved, was the beach toys in the closet that we got to use! The no air conditioning didn’t bother us at all and neither did the road noise. I also want to point out that Debbie and Tony are amazing! The booking process, check in and out was so easy! We will be back in a year!

Kulakane unit 305

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This 2 bedroom unit needs updating. The ceiling fans were dusty but management cleaned upon our request. Floor fans also very dirty & were not used or broken. Garbage disposal noisy& should be repaired. Oven light burned out. Sliding glass door difficult to use (Tony said new one on order). Floor lamp in living room has loose socket & require repair & 3-wat bulb. Kitchen supplies lacking: only 4 teaspoons, no mixing bowls, broiler pan missing insert, only 1 would e glass, no candles present to use on lanai. We found broken glass in dishwasher. Rust on side of frig and on metal stairwell- need painting. Carpeting is shag and outdated. Laundry basket provided is broken & needs replacement. Binoculars provided do not work & need replacement. (We brought our own binoculars.) no guest book provided for comments. A rubber mat in kitchen would be helpful because humidity causes slippery floor at times. A wall mounted rack to hang coats or purses by front door under stairs would be useful, as well as Key ring rack. The grounds are in great shape but unit was worn & outdated ; cannot recommend this unit. Have stayed in other property units that were great. This one missed the mark.
