Excellent convenient location for Buckeye-themed Labor Day weekend with 3 over 50 couples. Very clean with timely host communications. Proximity to brewery, market, and newer coffee shop was perfect, plus nice sunny walks in park to start and end the day. A number of smaller amenities recommended separately to host will make this even better, and doing the dishes was kind of novel.

New renter learning the ropes

Overall, I think this home will be a great place to rent. We were the first tenants and the home needs a few fixes to be truly great. Rather then give a bad review, we sent all our issues to the property owner who worked very hard to address issues. She even refunded a portion of our stay for our help. Was the stay perfect? No. Will I book this home for our trip next year? Yes!

The house was very clean, immaculate really. We had a few issues but they were quickly responded to by the host. A few things about the house I personally didnt like, but others may not mind:No curtains, just cheap mini blinds, even in bedroomsBathrooms had no heat vent so they were freezingNo TVs in the bedrooms, just 1 TV for the whole house. Seating in the living room was cheap and uncomfortable. And barely fit 4 adults. The house is quaint and the rooms are small, but I think with a little rearranging and better suited furniture it could work. No pictures on the walls, very sterile. Like I said, some people may like that lool, it just wasnt very cozy and this cute, quirky house could be made to be very welcoming for not too much investment. At the end of the day, its a rental so I get it, I am just explaining why only 4 stars and not 5.

We had a good stay at this newly renovated property! The Franklin Park location with a nice front porch was lovely and very convenient. Beds were really comfortable and the bathroom showers were awesome. The owner was responsive to questions/needs and available for help. After a brief power outage there was a 2 day delay in getting internet access and the keyless entry back due to shared router with neighboring rental. Even so, we would stay here again.

Hey there, I’m Amy! I manage this beautiful historic duplex right here in Columbus. I know this city inside and out, and my goal is to make sure you experience the best local spots it has to offer while enjoying a completely seamless stay.

When you book, you’re dealing directly with me. I’m hands-on, highly responsive, and passionate about keeping this home in top shape and providing guests with memories that bring them back for another visit. Whether you are traveling for a family milestone, local events, or business, I’m here to make sure you have everything you need to settle in and completely relax.

Why they chose this property

Olde Towne East is hands down one of the most vibrant, walkable, and character-rich historic neighborhoods in Columbus. You get the perfect mix of peaceful park views and instant city access.

Franklin Park is literally your front yard, making it incredibly easy to grab a morning coffee and walk right across the street to see the waterfall. Even better, you can take a 4-minute stroll right through our backyard to reach the East Market. Having instant access to fantastic local food vendors, great local beers at Columbus Brewing Co., and a lively neighborhood scene right out your back door is exactly why this location is unbeatable.

What makes this property unique

It’s the perfect blend of historic bones and modern comfort. Built in 1907, this brick duplex is packed with original architectural details, soaring ceilings, exposed brick, and character you simply cannot replicate in new construction. (And yes, the 115-year-old toilets have plenty of opinions, but they function perfectly!)

A recent renovation brought the entire space up to speed with modern living, from central high-speed internet to beautiful, locally crafted furniture made right here in Columbus. To top it off, I offer a curated menu of local concierge services—like in-home massage therapy, private chef experiences, dog walking/training services, tickets/reservations and even trusted babysitting—so you can get the ultimate, tailored Columbus experience without lifting a finger.
