About the host
Hosted by Roberta
My wife and I are passionate travelers — we've stayed with host families around the world and know firsthand how much a welcoming home can shape a trip. That experience of glimpsing someone else's daily life, their food, their rhythms, their stories — it's often what we remember most when we come back home. That's exactly what we want to offer our guests.
She's from Brazil, I'm from Haiti, and between us we have plenty of culture, warmth, and good food to share. If you're a curious traveler, you'll find us easy to talk to. Don't be surprised if you smell Brazilian churrasco coming from the red brick patio — you're welcome to stop by for a bite.
We're here if you want company, and completely respectful of your space if you don't. Either way, we hope your stay feels like more than just a place to sleep.

Why they chose this property
Scarsdale is a beautiful hamlet although we live on the outskirts of it we enjoy going to the town center for a family meal or just the local farmers market or coffee shops.
What makes this property unique
Perched on a hillside we have rolling hills of turfy grass and landscaped gardens with shrubs and trees and flowers.
