About the host
Hosted by Ohana
I grew up in a little rural town on the Big Island of Hawaii about an hour away from either big city. From the beaches to the mountains, I love the outdoors. Now, I live in the city so enjoying the outdoors is quite a drive away. I had to get a place that would remind me of my childhood and allow me to enjoy the outdoors. I came across the Smoky Mountains and fell in love. So, getting a cabin that my family and I can go to and enjoy the area made sense. It's a perfectly sized cabin for our Ohana (family).
Why they chose this property
Nestled in the heart of the Smoky Mountains sits in the charming Eagles Ridge Resort—a neighborhood that blends rustic tranquility with unbeatable convenience. Just 1.5 miles from the Pigeon Forge Parkway, it offers quick access to top attractions like Dollywood, The Island, and scenic hiking trails, while still feeling tucked away from the bustle.
🌲 The Scene
Imagine winding through gently sloped roads lined with cozy log cabins and mature trees. The air carries a hint of pine and woodsmoke, especially in the cooler months. From the front porch, you might hear birdsong in the morning and catch glimpses of the mist rolling off the mountains at dusk. The neighborhood is peaceful, with no steep roads—making it ideal for year-round access.
