About the host
Hosted by Daria Arbogast
I am retired, have a dog, chickens and guineas. I like to garden and have recently begun to offer my studio to guests. I have been blessed to meet some wonderful folks.
Why they chose this property
I have learned that guests enjoy the country noises, the rooster crowing in the morning and the garden views. The winery is within walking distance and they host wine tastings and events such as weddings. Buckeye lake is 6 blocks away and there is room to park and boat and trailer here. National Trails Raceway is 11 miles from here and there is room for car and trailer. Deer hunters have found this location useful.
What makes this property unique
I so enjoy the view from my back deck. There is so much life in the wooded area behind me. If you are up early the deer go through here most days. In winter I have a series of bird feeders which draw constant traffic. The hummingbirds frequent their feeders all summer usually late April until early September especially in the morning and evening. Enjoying a glass of wine and the view is great way to wind up the day.
