Great location and great host!

If you are looking for a centrally located place to stay in Santiago this is it. We never used the subway system but we did walk to several places. Plaza de Las Armas was a 15 minute walk. There are several eating establishments right next door to the building. Gonzalo was a very accommodating host as we had several flight delays, etc.

Too noisy to sleep

The neighbors were up late partying almost every night that we actually left for half of our stay to get away from them. Our host, Gonzalo, was very nice and helpful and the views were amazing. However, the neighbors partied too often and we could not sleep. I would not suggest staying there if sleep is important to you.

Hi Jay, As you know I live in the same building, if the neighbors made a lot of noise you should let me know. I could call the concierge and on the second claim those neighbors would have been fined. It is impossible for me to know what happens if you do not inform me.
