Meet Your Hosts – Bonnabel Haus Properties We’re a small, passionate team who love hosting. At Bonnabel Haus Properties, we treat every home like it’s our own and every guest like a friend. You’ll notice the difference in the thoughtful touches, personal recommendations, and quick communication. We’re design lovers, dog people, and outdoor adventurers — and we’ve poured our hearts into creating a space that’s stylish, comfortable, and always ready for fun.
Important Notes
* No A/C: Most homes in McCall don’t have air conditioning because it’s rarely needed. Ceiling fans in bedrooms, movable fans throughout the home, and cool mountain nights mean you’ll stay comfortable. We recommend opening windows at night and closing them in the morning.
* Garage not for parking: It’s been turned into a game room, but there’s ample driveway parking.
* Pet Fee: $75/pet, with host approval required.
Rental Agreement & Guest Verification Required – All guests must complete a simple rental agreement, ID verification, and choose between a $1500 refundable security hold or a $50 third-party damage waiver (plus $3/night for stays over 10 days). This protects our home and ensures peace of mind for everyone.
Please inquire for longer stays as we're able to offer a different waiver option for this.
Guest Access You’ll have private access to:
* All 3 bedrooms & 2 full bathrooms
* Kitchen, dining, living, and lounge spaces
* Laundry room
* Hot tub, fire pit, all porches and balconies
* Detached garage game room with TV and games
The only locked spaces are two storage closets: one in the garage and one in the upstairs king suite.
Guest Interaction
You’ll have full privacy — but we’re always just a message away. Before your arrival, you’ll receive access to our digital guidebook with everything you need to know, plus local tips and recommendations. We're here to help with anything that comes up during your stay, from trail ideas to last-minute dinner suggestions.
Winter Travel Notice
From November–March, expect snow and icy conditions. Please plan ahead:
* AWD/4WD vehicles are highly recommended
* Chains or snow tires may be required
* Our driveway is plowed regularly, but accumulation is possible
* Check weather reports before travel
* Guests are responsible for their vehicles — we are not liable for towing or delays due to road conditions
That said, if you ever need help or local guidance, we’re just a message away. A little planning goes a long way — and the snowy setting is all part of the magic here in McCall!

About the host
Hosted by Virginia Aucoin

Hi, I’m Virginia — a full-time property manager with a degree in economics, a heart for hospitality, and a deep love for helping people feel at home wherever they are. I’ve spent years managing unique short-term rentals across Louisiana and Idaho, combining my passions for design, travel, and service into a career I truly love.
Originally from Louisiana, I bring warmth, attention to detail, and a strong sense of care to every guest experience. I believe great hospitality is about more than clean spaces — it’s about thoughtfulness, clear communication, and creating an environment where people can rest, reconnect, and make lasting memories.
Whether you're planning a quiet getaway or a meaningful celebration, I’m here to make sure the experience is smooth, comfortable, and stress-free. My goal is always the same: for guests to feel welcomed, supported, and free to enjoy their time to the fullest.
When I’m not managing properties, you’ll usually find me paddle boarding, hiking, soaking in a hot spring, or exploring new places with my dog Roux Ga Roux. I’m grateful every day to do this work and look forward to welcoming you soon.

Why they chose this property
Imagine waking up to birdsong and golden light filtering through the trees, then strolling just minutes down the road to dip your toes in Payette Lake or hit the trailheads of Ponderosa State Park, both practically in your backyard! Hop on a bike or take a leisurely walk — you’re less than a mile from lakefront beaches, forest hikes, and kayak launches.
When you're ready to refuel or explore, the energy of downtown McCall awaits just around the corner. Boutique shops, local eats, breweries, and the famous ice cream counter at Ice Cream Alley are just a 3-minute drive away — or an easy, breezy bike ride if you're feeling like a local.
And let’s talk seasons. Summer brings paddle boarding, beach picnics, and sunset paddles. In fall, the road itself becomes a golden tunnel of aspens and crisp air. Winter? Lick Creek Road transforms into a dreamy snow-globe scene with easy access to Nordic trails, Brundage skiing, and hot cocoa runs to town. Springtime wildflowers and wildlife return before it all starts over again.
This neighborhood isn’t just peaceful — it’s alive with possibilities. Whether you're here for a laid-back escape or an adventure-packed itinerary, 925 Lick Creek Road puts you at the crossroads of everything that makes McCall magical.

What makes this property unique
What makes Nine Pines Outpost stand out? It’s the kind of place that surprises and delights at every turn — not just a cozy cabin in the woods, but a full-blown mountain retreat packed with thoughtful touches and unexpected fun.
Step into the sprawling, private backyard and you’ll instantly feel the peace that only tall pines and open skies can bring. Whether you’re soaking in the steamy hot tub under the stars, sipping coffee around the crackling firepit, or letting your pup roam free (yes, we’re pet friendly), this outdoor space is a mood all its own.
Wander upstairs to discover the treetop balcony, a tucked-away hideout with breezy porch swings that float above the forest floor — the perfect spot for quiet mornings or golden hour chats.
But the crown jewel? The detached garage turned epic game room. We’re talking air hockey battles, arcade games, a pop-a-shot, and a huge sectional facing a massive smart TV — all in a space that opens to the fresh mountain air. It’s part lounge, part arcade, and 100% awesome for kids and adults alike.
Combine that with comfy sleeping spaces, stylish upgrades, and a prime location close to lake, town, and trails — and you’ve got a stay that’s anything but ordinary. This isn’t just a basecamp — it’s a destination in itself.
