FOREST GARDENS GETAWAY is a small Bed & Breakfast located on the edge of the Ottawa National Forest & the Sylvania Wilderness Area. The snowmobile trail crosses our driveway 1/2 mile from our house. 8 miles of groomed cross country ski trails are located just behind the house. If you’re looking for a place to help you put away the cares and concerns of the world, look no further! We have been hosting guests for 10 years and have loved every minute of it. Our goal is to provide a peaceful, retreat-like experience for our guests and we do whatever we can to make you feel comfortable and welcome. Land O Lakes, WI is 2 miles to the south and Watersmeet, MI is 6 miles to the north. We’re within an hour’s drive from Bond Falls, Porcupine Mountains State Park, and Lake Superior. Nature surrounds you along with the peace and quiet that comes with it! We start your day with a large breakfast.


This large 1100 sq. ft. suite is on the lower level and has 2 bedrooms and a bath. It can sleep 4 comfortably. One room has a queen size bed and the other has 2 twins. The suite has a living/gathering area with a couch, love seat, and large screen TV, a wet bar with Kuerig, microwave, and small refrigerator, 2 bar tables and chairs for working or game playing, and a 9' regulation pool table. There's a 3-season private entrance for the suite.

We have a separate suite on the opposite side of the house from you and are as available as you wish for us to be. We love to visit with our guests but also want to give you your privacy if you so desire!

Please also check out the upper level suite with private bath that sleeps 2 (property #919649). The entire 3 bedroom/2 bath area is available to rent at a discount for larger groups and sleeps 6.
