Easy access with wide paved roads that travel through the National Park to the secluded cabin tucked away on the creek. Sit on the deck and listen as the water flows by where 2 creeks come together to form Machine Branch which runs down the mountain side and joins Cove Creek. This 2 Bed 2 Bath 1450 sq ft with a pool table and private Hot Tub is decorated to the gills with a wildlife theme. You will not be disappointed with the quality and seclusion of this Luxurious Cabin!

A bit of false advertisement and a little unclean

Driveway is a bit scary, helps to have an additional person to help navigate so you don’t drive off the ledge into the creek. When we arrived there was jelly spills on the fireplace, so I’m not sure it was properly cleaned before us. Pool table is awful. We booked this place because of the wooden walkouts from the cabin. Well only the circular one is open. The other one is boarded up for no access. This cabin could use some updates for sure. There’s no where to put your stuff because there is stuff everywhere. Very over decorated. The coffee pot takes 35 minutes to brew a pot. They do not provide anything extra. Only thing provided were a few disks of hand soap and 2 dishwasher packets. No coffee. There was a welcome letter on the counter for the previous renters, thanking them for their stay. Looked old and wet, so again not sure it was properly cleaned. The final kicker was the jacuzzi tub in the master suite. We used it the final night and it basically drained into the downstairs bathroom. Floor was drenched. Everything on counter was ruined.

Reviewer Comments: Liked the location easy to get to in wears Valley, flowing water sound, privacy, porches, unlevel pool table, views, jacuzzi type tub, floor plan, real log cabin feel. The outside hot tub was nice but would have preferred it to be on main or upper porch not on bottom level. the tight driveway was not a negative for us. We Would rent this cabin again. RE/MAX Cove is recommended as well in Wears Valley

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a very nice cabin in need of minor upkeep. The interior of the cabin is nicely decorated and well laid-out. The mattresses seemed worn out (or maybe are just overly soft). I woke up with a sore back the first few mornings and did not sleep well the entire trip. The cabin is fairly secluded but still a short drive to the main highway. The creek is relaxing and the deck area is very nice but also in need of repair. A few broken, missing, and loose boards meant we had to watch the children closely, but they enjoyed walking over the creek. The driveway has a tight turn that was not bad in the SUV that we came in, but we were glad that we had not come in our F250. The living areas of the cabin were very clean but spiderwebs are visible overhead in several rooms. Overall we enjoyed this cabin but would be hesitant to stay again due to the mattresses.
