LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!! River Cottage Psalm 23 is just .1 miles of the Pkwy but is extremely private! No steps into the house, no hills, steeps roads, and long, curvy roads to get lost on! Avoid the traffic by hitting nearby Teaster Lane and Veterans Hwy. Easy to find and convenient. Close to Dollywood! Watch and listen to the Pigeon River from the living room and enjoy the abundance of wildlife just outside. Dixie Stampede is across the river and you can see the back parking lot from the deck! If you don't feel like driving, no problem, you can walk! Take peaceful walks along the river banks and you can even feed the ducks! Fisherman can cast their lines from the yard!

River Cottage Psalm 23 is a modern home with great furnishings. In both bedrooms there are queen beds, tv/dvd combos, closets, and plenty of drawer space for your stay. Master suite walks out to the private screened porch with hot tub overlooking the river!

Fully modernized custom kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Coffee maker will be used as you wake up, open the blinds, and view the relaxing currents of the river. Washer and dryer is available for your laundry needs.

Complete wall tiled bathroom with high rise toilet ,Victorian style vanity, and full showertub combo for your bathing needs.

Relax in the living room overlooking the Pigeon River. Only the finest furnishings and 50' flatscreen tv for your enjoyment. Spectrum Cable and Wifi add to the amenities at River Cottage Psalm 23.

Nice little place, cozy and comfy. The hot tub and screened in porch were nice, the TV, ac, everything worked. The water near was nice with tons of ducks and geese, and we enjoyed feeding them. Nice peaceful place, but so close to everything.... Only complaint would be the bathroom is too small, but not a deal breaker.... 100% would stay here again!

Awesome stay

The house was super clean! The location was great! The geese and ducks were a hit! The property owner communcated very well! We had a fantastic time and we will be returning soon!!!

The cabin was great and we loved the location. The river in front of the cabin was beautiful and the hot tub felt so good after walking long distances everyday. We are older so the only things we didnt like was getting into and out of the shower. The bathroom is very small and that was a clear chance of falling for us. Also with the beds set up against the wall you can only get into bed on one side so that was a bit of an issue. VRBO was great to work with and our host called us immediately for any problems.

Family vacation

We enjoyed our stay. It is close to everything but you still feel “tucked away” with the river, ducks and trees. We enjoyed feeding the ducks daily and the beds were comfy. We will come back.

Perfect Spot For Your Tennessee Stay

Location is everything and this is it. You have privacy, even though you’re right in the heart of pigeon forge. Everything was as described except for fishing as the creek in this area is too low. However, fishing is any direction a few miles away. Place was clean, comfortable and the geese and ducks were plentiful. We saw little baby chicks. It was a lot of fun.

We always enjoy our stays, and you cannot beat the location. Brent was very responsive to us when we spoke with him, and he reset the hot tub right away! Looking forward to our next visit.

Great location and pretty cozy

We really loved everything, but there were a few minor repairs needed in the cabin. A piece of door trim had popped off on an interior door, a couple of outlets were not properly secured, and the tub did not drain well even after the propert owner came to clear it. I definitely feel like we had a great experience, but these few things did take away from it a bit. Thatbbeing said, we loved the location, the hot tub, the creek outside, the screened in porch.I would definitely stay here again, though.

Beautiful cabin by the river close to everything

The cabin is very beautiful and the hot tub is so relaxing and wonderful. The view is extraordinary. The river is beautiful. The owner is very kind. I highly recommend this place for your next getaway in the beautiful mountains of Pigeon Forge Tennessee.

Great family weekend home

We had a short family weekend planned and found this quaint cottage which was perfect for our family of four. The location by Little Pigeon River is nice which makes the hot tub view enjoyable. The location right off the parkway is an added bonus making travel a littler easier in what is otherwise an always congested area. The bedrooms and living space are as advertised, clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

Duck house

We really loved our stay. We are use to staying in a more remote place. This place worked great for us. Loved listening to all the ducks. We were close to everything. Very clean with everything you need. Except was missing a broom for cleanup. We will stay again.

Fantastic small home

Great stay for a small family. My wife and I with our 2 kids(14 and 8) loved it. The traffic across the river at The Stampede was not bad at all. We only heard a turd on a sport bike once. We will most definitely be staying agian.

Wedding Weekend

Although cozy, the bedrooms and bathroom were much smaller than they appear in photos. The description of “secluded and private “ were highly exaggerated as we had traffic passing both in front and behind constantly until wee hours of the morning and the cottage is also located one street over from Veterans Blvd so we heard traffic all day and night. There are also two hotels located directly across from and next to the property, one of which uses the backyard of the cottage for it’s overflow parking. It was difficult to relax in the hot tub with the human traffic walking around, giving one the constant feeling that they are on display. Being it was our wedding weekend, we would have enjoyed it much more if we were allowed to relax in true privacy.

We loved the location! The cabin was very nice, very quaint. There is only thing I would change. The kitchen didn't have hardly any dishes. No cereal or salad bowls. Mismatched coffee cups. No serving bowls. It was hard to feel my family in house.

Why they chose this property

Along with offering only the best products in this cozy cottage, it is located just .1 miles off the Parkway. So if location is what you are looking for, you have found it! The location is extremely close but is surprisingly private. If you like wildlife there is plenty of it here. Birds, geese, ducks, etc make there homes just on the banks off the front porch.
