Our stay in the cabin was excellent! It’s a cozy one-bedroom that was perfect for a peaceful getaway. The setting was very quiet, which made it easy to relax and unwind. We especially loved the décor—it added so much charm and made the space feel warm and inviting. Would definitely stay here again!
Overall stay was good. Could use some stepping stones outside to limit tracking dirt/mud inside the house. Exhaust fan in bathroom would help with overall moisture inside when showering
Very neat and tidy. our Hostess was most helpful and contacted as needed.

Dear Steve,
Thank you for your review. We are glad that you found our hose to be neat and tidy. Our housekeeper is amazing. I am glad to hear that I was "most helpful" during your stay. That is the experience we strive for.
During our stay we immediately noticed a lot of bugs (mostly ants) roaming around inside the home. Other than that great property if the bugs could be managed.

Dear Kirsten,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We wish you would have mentioned that ants got in during your stay. There are many effective and quick ways, we could have remedied the situation immediately, and the cabin would have been ant/ bug free. We are happy to hear that you liked our property, and though it was great.
Had a wonderful time. We did have a bear visit on Tuesday morning. The bear was on the porch and we were inside the cabin, safe. Scared us a bit but later we laughed. The bear just wondered off. The bed was comfortable. Kitchen functioned well. Missed having salt and pepper and cooking oil. The plates, bowls, pots and pan were well used. Stove worked very well. The fridge allowed us to store our extra food.
This place was just what we wanted. Perfect for the two of us and our small dog. Host was great with communicating and meeting our needs. And the location was amazing. We felt secluded but also right in the middle of all the things we wanted to do.
We loved this cozy cabin and it was a great location. Hidden and quiet, yet so close to the parkway. We had a wonderful time during our visit. The only downside was the tv connection lagged, but we connected to a hot spot and it was fine. I couldn’t find the sheets for the futon, but we made do with the blankets that were there. Thank you for your hospitality!

Dear Linda,
Thank you for your review. We are glad that you loved your stay, and had a wonderful time. The storm during your stay caused internet outages in the whole area. Our location was restored as one of the first areas, but we understand, that it is inconvenient to be without wifi. Our housekeeper lives walking distance, and had you let us know, that additional sheets were needed, she would have them there within the hour. We enjoyed hosting you and hope to have you come back to stay with us again.
We enjoyed our stay, we had a car hauler and large truck and had plenty of parking room! We enjoyed the cabin it suited all of our needs!

Dear Tabitha, Thank you for your great review. We agree, that one of the best things about our tiny cabin ( aside from it's unbeatable location) is the extra land and parking possibilities. Many of our guests participate in the car events and bring trailers and additional cars, which we are happy to accomodate.
Very clean excellent little nook. Very accommodating!! Pet friendly. The shower was excellent ! Close to everything yet far enough away just great location. Highly recommend

Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
One of the rocking chairs on the front porch has broken leg and runners, didn't try to sit in it, one of the benches by the fire pit collapsed when I sat on it. The cabin was clean and served the purpose. Didn't like the cameras on the property but understand the need for them. The outside is in need of work to be made enjoyable. Overall it was a good stay.

Dear Doug,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We have purchased sturdier, more heavy duty rocking chairs, and replaced the wooden ones by the house. We prefer wooden/ natural lawn furniture, but understand that it may not be as sturdy as needed for all of our guests.
The camera pointing to the outside of the door is disclosed in the listing and is considered the standard with many self- check in vacation rentals.
We are glad to know that you had a good stay.
We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin in the mountains! The location was absolutely perfect close enough to everything we wanted to explore, but still tucked away and peaceful for that true mountain escape. The cabin was spotless and so well-kept, which made it easy to relax the moment we walked in.Being pet-friendly was a huge plus for us, and our pup felt right at home! The host was fantastic as well, friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay.We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, cozy, and convenient mountain getaway!
