Many people in life feel like they’ve found their “calling” while others wander aimlessly. However, we’d venture to say that all of us will respond to one type of “calling” in particular- the soothing rumble of waves against the soft sands of the Gulf of Mexico. This Destin vacation rental set in Hidden Dunes, a wooded resort bounded by a very long stretch of deeded beach access, is an invitation to destiny.

Cottage 157 will aid you on your journey of discovering your place in the eternal sunshine of the Gulf Coast. It’s newly renovated interior features beach tones of teal and sand but modernly stylized. The rooms have also been upgraded with cool materials- stainless steel appliances in the kitchen as well as poured concrete counters and unique stone tile work in the bathrooms. The airy feel of Cottage 157 comes courtesy of open gathering areas where the screened-in porch flows into the living room and whose ceilings stretch all the way up to meet an open loft with large windows.
A cottage in Hidden Dunes also comes with great conveniences apart from the beach. It has a washer and dryer, parking and a location overlooking one of Hidden Dunes sunny pool decks. Plus, Hidden Dunes guests have access to exclusive amenities including pro tennis courts and a pro shop; basketball, horse shoe and corn hole courts; outdoor grilling areas; walking trails and the security of staying in a gated community. However, a very short distance from Hidden Dunes gates and you’ll find an exciting array of entertainment options! Silver Sands Factory Stores, laser tag, golf courses, movie theaters, award-winning restaurants- these are just a few items to add to your vacation schedule.

Hidden Dunes offers six tennis courts with a Rubico Clay surface, which is the highest standard for clay tennis courts, and are maintained daily in order to provide the best playing conditions. Proper tennis attire is required to play and we encourage you to call ahead to schedule a match or take advantage of our clinics and private lessons. Please call to inquire about cost per session and equipment rental prices. Our friendly staff invites you to join for a game or two.

Guests receive a welcome kit with small dishwasher detergent, dish soap, sponge, a roll of paper towels, and laundry detergent. Family Vacation

We have stayed at 2 other Hidden Dunes cottages and this one was the best so far in terms of being the total package for our family. Me, my husband, my husband’s mother in law, as well as our 10 year old and 6 year old boys had lots of room to spread out. The spiral stairwell and loft was the perfect place for the kids to chill. We really enjoyed how newly renovated and clean everything was. There wasn’t a lot of clutter and the main area was bright and spacious! We felt really fortunate to be able to sit and chill on the screened in porch and watch the boys come and go from the pool right below. The walk to the beach was about 5 minutes- really close by and a pretty walk. The managers of this property make it really simple and easy. I’m notorious for missing emails etc but they made the communication touch points really simple and concise. We would for sure book again!!

Great for family vacation

Walk to beach was about 6-7 minutes. Not bad at all. We also enjoyed the pool. Loved how quiet the resort was. Condo was great. Beds were decent but sofa was stiff. Remodeled bathrooms were very nice. We looked at many other rental options and this was a great value compared to others. Kitchen was well equipped too. Having a washer / dryer in the condo was convenient for us but it is a smaller one. A/C stopped working our last night which was a bummer. Overall it was a very nice place for our family vacation. It was our first time to Destin.

We Loved It!

Everything was beautiful, just like the pictures showed and no problems with the cleanliness. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all we needed and the master bath shower as fantastic, but the others were very nice, too. It was just a short walk to the very large and well kept pool and we walked to the beach as well. The grounds were beautiful and felt very safe in this area. We didn't want to leave and hope to be back again soon. We would love to stay in this condo again!
