Welcome to The Gathering Place – a rustic mountain retreat in Locust Lake Village. Sleeps 8 with 3 cozy bedrooms plus a loft for flexible sleeping. Enjoy 2 living rooms, including a game room with arcade games, foosball, and shuffleboard. Cook in the stocked kitchen, dine at the handcrafted table, and relax on 2 decks with firepit, massage chair, and propane/charcoal grills. Guests also enjoy access to 4 lakes, pickleball courts, and more!

Important: Community Amenities – Seasonal Availability
• Swimming in the lakes is open Memorial Day-Labor Day.
• Boating is available year round. If renters bring their own boat, there is a $20 fee for boat pass. No gas-powered boats are allowed.
• All Outdoor Amenities: Closed during the winter season (from the first snowfall through April).
• Winter: The sledding hill and ski hill are available depending on the amount of snow. There is ice skating at Pilgrims Lake and ice fishing at Locust, East, or Pine Lakes, if frozen. The Recreation Department will also organize events and activities throughout fall and winter (luncheons, Pizza & Wings, Arts & Crafts, Octoberfest, Breakfast with Santa, etc).

You must pre-register all guests and vehicles with the community at least 3 days prior to your stay. The maximum number of guests is 8 INCLUDING infants and toddlers. Wristbands are required to be worn while using the numerous community amenities. Eight wristbands are provided for our guests at no additional cost. There is a $35 fee per lost bracelet for replacements.

Each bedroom is thoughtfully designed for rest and relaxation, with cozy touches and inviting decor, while the loft-style sleeping area adds a fun and flexible space perfect for groups or families.

Main Floor Living Room: This lodge-style living space boasts soaring ceilings, a striking floor-to-ceiling stone wall with a cozy wood stove, warm wood accents, and comfortable leather seating. Expansive windows fill the room with natural light and open onto a spacious deck, where you can enjoy glimpses of the lake—just a short walk away.

Second living area: Designed as a game room, this fun-filled space includes a vintage Pac-Man arcade game, foosball, full-size shuffleboard, mini tabletop ping pong (in the bookshelf), cornhole (in the black case behind the connect four), large connect four game, board games, and a 55" Smart TV—perfect for all ages.

Kitchen & Dining:
Step into our cozy, fully-equipped kitchen featuring granite countertops, natural wood cabinets, and all the essentials—including a drip coffee maker, microwave, and gas stove. The rustic dining area offers a handcrafted log-style table with bench seating, perfect for shared meals and conversation.

Outdoor Areas:
Step into the peaceful beauty of the outdoors, where a traditional wood firepit invites you to gather, roast marshmallows, and enjoy late-night conversations under the stars. Fire up the BBQ grill—with both charcoal and gas options—for a delicious cookout surrounded by nature. Whether you're dining al fresco, sipping something refreshing, or simply soaking up the forest air, this outdoor space is designed for connection, comfort, and relaxation.

Your safety and the well-being of our home are of utmost importance. We have exterior security cameras for added security.

Fully house-trained dogs only. 2 dogs max. $150 per stay for up to 2 dogs. No puppies. Must not be left unattended. All animals, including service animals, must be communicated to us upon booking.
