There are even three gargoyles atop the first floor windows at the front of the house! Yet it has been beautifully renovated and has lots of modern comforts too. All tastefully decorated with calming colours, earthy tones and coastal hues throughout. There’s a pebbly beach just opposite, with magnificent views to Snowdonia beyond. Ground Floor

Enter through the front door straight into the bright lounge area. The downstairs lounge simply oozes comfort and character. It has two cosy sofas and two armchairs to snuggle up on by the warming glow of the wood burner. Maybe you’ll all watch a movie together on the smart TV? Or use the local guides provided to plan your next day of adventure? There’s plenty of space for everyone to relax here.

To the left of this room is a traditional brick fireplace as you head through to the kitchen. The stairs are straight ahead and there’s a downstairs bathroom to the right of this space. It has a large walk-in shower, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail.

You’ll find Porth Hir’s country style kitchen is very well equipped. It has ample worktops, and a stylish range with 4 ovens and a hob with 7 burners. There’s an American style fridge freezer (with an ice and water dispenser) and plenty of storage for your shopping and supplies. You’ll also find a microwave, kettle, toaster, cafetière, blenders and plenty of pots, pans, utensils, crockery, cutlery and glassware. So you can prepare snacks and cook tasty meals throughout your self-catering holiday. But there are lots of cafes, pubs and restaurants just a 5-minute walk away if you prefer to eat out.

The table and chairs in the kitchen provide somewhere to sit and chat whilst preparing dinner. Or it could be used as a workstation if one of your group needs to set up their laptop and check in with the office during their time away. There is good Wi-Fi throughout.

The kitchen leads through to a separate dining room which has more gorgeous sea views. It is beautifully furnished with a large dining table and six cushioned chairs, a stylish cabinet and more homely touches. A place to eat together, laugh together and make memories to cherish forever. Perfect for long, lazy breakfasts or special celebrations.

First Floor

Stairs lead up into a second sumptuous living area where the light pours in. With four plush armchairs, a gas stove and stunning views across the sea, this space is perfect when you want some quiet time. Maybe you’ll curl up with a good book? Or just sit and watch the boats go by? It leads out onto the first-floor balcony where there’s a table and chairs. So you can start your day sitting outside in the fresh sea air as you sip your morning cuppa. Or enjoy an evening tipple watching the sun go down across the water; then gaze at the starry skies above.

The upstairs living room also leads to the three bedrooms. Two are down a couple of steps to the right. One is a king-size bedroom and an ensuite shower room, This room looks out onto a quiet, leafy lane. The other is a twin room with a window seat with plump, soft seat cushions. To the left of the stairs is the third bedroom, which is next to the family bathroom. This lovely bedroom also has a window seat that looks out onto the beach below. It has a zip and link Super king-size bed which can be made into two single beds on request.

The bedrooms all have drawers and wardrobes so you can unpack and make yourself at home. Plus, each has bedside tables with lamps, and they are all are stylishly decorated. Ready for you to relax into and hopefully enjoy some peaceful sleep after busy days exploring and having adventures.

The family bathroom is perfect if you’re bringing little ones with you who enjoy splashing in the bath before bedtime. But it’s just as nice for the grown-ups too. Who doesn’t love a nice relaxing soak to unwind in the evening? The great thing about being on holiday is there’s no need to rush around. So we hope you take some time to enjoy the things you might not have time for in your every day life. Soft, fluffy towels are provided.
