Hello, I'm Lynn & I was born & raised here in Williston, Fl. This is my 2nd VRBO rental, my 1st was in beautiful Crystal River, which is only a short car ride & a great place to visit during your stay. I love & enjoy owning & managing my properties. I have 2 kids which keeps me super busy as well & currently work at Cookie King Real Estate, Inc. I also teach yoga & do Paddleboard Yoga & tours to local springs, if that's something you would like to book & add to your stay, please let me know.
Why they chose this property
The Williston Highlands was & is slowly becoming our local country club, again. It has sincere meaning to me because my grandfather, his brothers & uncle helped get it started back in 1967. Over the years it has changed owners that haven't been able to manage & keep it afloat, but in the last few years the growth is undeniably visible to US locals & is attracting folks from all over. Williston Highlands is centrally located in Florida & whether you want to go visit some of Florida's most famous springs or big city attractions...Disney, Daytona, Florida Gator FB games, Crystal River & its manatees, Rainbow River, World Famous Devils Den & Blue Grotto(both located in Williston,Fl.) just to name a few, you're less than 2hrs from all of those. And lets not forget the absolutely, unbelievable, breathe taking World Equestrian Center, located only 35mins from Williston Highlands in Ocala, Florida, which is also know as the world's capital for horses, horse lovers & all things equestrian. You can look up local events & activities during your stay.
What makes this property unique
Where do I being?? I'd been looking for another property to remodel & to help with bring income in for me & my 2 kids. I prayed about it & my prayers were answered, God's timing & plan is always on time. I say that because I want my guest to know that this is a labor of LOVE, lots of prayers & tears, not all bad, most of them good & many more memories to be made here at the Highlands Hacienda. The reason I named it the HH was because a friend came up with it when I started asking for advice on names...and I laughed thinking it was funny & then low & behold that's the name I fell in LOVE with while working on it, looking for title for the kitchen & furniture to decorate with. And the landscape is & will always be a Hacienda work in progress.
