My family and I stayed here for a long weekend in August and it was an absolute delight. The house was spotless, spacious, comfortable and quiet. We were close to a number of local shops and activity sites. The hosts, Liz and Tom were great, very responsive and helpful when it came to everything relating to the property as well as helping us plan fun group activities close by. We look forward to staying here again!

This cabin is the perfect escape-quiet, charming, and tucked into nature. It’s got everything you need: comfy beds, spacious living areas and beautiful views. We came to enjoy mountain adventures, summer hikes, and family celebrations. Close enough to town for supplies, but far enough to feel totally off the grid. Peaceful, simply elegant and just the right cozy.

This home is absolutely lovely! It checks all the boxes and needs---we will be back! It is perfectly maintained and clean. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for our family of four: two young kiddos. The space is warm and inviting. We loved the deck and the open yard space. The kitchen was one of our favorite parts! We cooked most dinners at the cabin, and we loved how our family ate at the table or kitchen bar-counter together. We will be back! Planning to come in the winter to teach our kiddos to ski! Thank you for an amazing cabin for our family!

The Perfect Southern Vermont Getaway

We loved our first stay here during New Year’s Eve so much that we came back in the summer! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this home. As a family of three (plus our senior pup), this spot was the perfect base for a relaxing and memory-filled getaway. The location truly couldn’t be better—just a short drive to all the best winter and summer attractions, a grocery store and a few local restaurants, but tucked away in a peaceful, private area that felt like our own little retreat. The house itself is exactly as described—spotless and clearly very well cared for. Everything was thoughtfully stocked with all items we needed—plenty of kitchen and bathroom essentials, cozy linens and towels, and even some sweet touches that made our toddler feel right at home. The hosts, Tom and Liz, were very responsive and a joy to communicate with—friendly, helpful (they gave great local recommendations), and quick to answer any questions we had. It’s clear they truly care about their guests’ experience and go above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. We would, and will, absolutely stay here again and recommend it to any family looking for a quiet, comfortable, and well-appointed stay in the heart of Southern Vermont!

Nice to meet you. I’m Liz and I live in Vermont with my husband, son and two Newfie puppies, Osa & Ferd. I’m an interior designer and antique collector, and at my core, a lover of travel and exploration. We’d love to host you in the beautiful Green Mountains.

Why they chose this property

We fell for Vermont the moment we crossed the border, instantly enveloped by the Green Mountains rising on the horizon, pristine forests, and a pace of life that feels both genuine and grounding .

In Vermont every season brings its own magic:

Spring & Summer, wildflowers bloom, the air hums with life, and quiet trails beckon you into the woods.

Fall, the foliage bursts into spectacular color, a sensory embrace that often moves visitors to tears .

Winter, there’s a serene stillness, perfect for cozying up by the fireplace after snowshoeing, skiing, or simply listening to the hush of falling snow.

What makes this property unique

The cabin itself is a blend of modern comfort and rustic charm. It's designed to feel cozy and inviting while letting the natural beauty outside take center stage. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the main living space, where a 2-story stone fireplace takes the stage.

Whether you're curled up with a book by the fire, sipping coffee on the deck, or soaking in the quiet, the feeling is always the same: grounded, calm, connected.
