The Rockin' M Ranch consists of seven deluxe cabins, the main house, an onsite horseback riding stable, and fly fishing guide service . This property for rent is the loft cabin. The loft cabin has beautiful log construction with a rustic western appearance, and many modern conveniences, including full kitchens (stocked with dishes and basic cooking utensils), gas fireplace, air conditioning, direct T.V., covered decks, gas grills, and onsite wifi. On the premises there are two centrally located hot tubs. Located among the cabins are a horseshoe and fire pit for the evening hours. Excellent trout fishing is located onsite along with 400 acres of wadable fishing bordering the ranch on the Salt River. The Salt River location creates an atmosphere like no other vacation rental property in the area. The Rockin' M is not just a place to stay but a genuine western Wyoming experience!

Richard went out of his way to stop me and praise the property, even requested a possible month long stay next season. Now he gives us a 3 star review based on something completely out of our control, such as mosquitos, which mellow out significantly as the summer goes on. It is a fresh water spring which is full of trout, I believe the same reason Richard was drawn to our location. As much as we appreciate an honest constructive review, we also appreciate it when we are reviewed for something that we have control over. Thanks...Rob

Wonderful stay on the Ranch.

We highly recommend staying here while visiting the Alpine and Grand Teton region. The grounds and views are very beautiful and our cabin was spotless and very comfortable! We had easy access to horse rides and fishing off the salt river was just a few feet away. There are also national forests within hiking distance which was also great and communication with our hostess Jamie was also very easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Great time!

We did the horseback riding and it was the best ever! It’s a little drive to Yellowstone but we went to Yellowstone one day and Teton Village another day and lots of hiking.I would highly recommend my friends to stay at your place very nice

The property is beautiful and the owners very helpful and friendly. The cabin was great--my only quibble is that the pillows are all foam; a couple of down alternatives would be nice. Horseback riding on the premises is terrific--really fun and very well run. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed in a loft cabin for 3 nights midSeptember. A beautiful spot for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. Owners very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend it to anyone and would definitely book here again. Enjoyed seeing the horses, the ranch dogs, wildlife and the hot tub. Clean, roomy and fairly private - so much nicer than a hotel room.

We are Rob and Jamie Meikle owners and operators of the Rockin M Ranch Cabins. My background since 1993 was in guiding hunting trips, guided fly fishing, and snowmobile tours. My wife Jamie was a bookeeper and accountant. We have put all of our energy and knowledge into building the Rockin M Ranch. We live onsite and work daily within the business. My wife Jamie takes great pride in keeping the cabins incredibly clean and in a like new condition. My hired guides and I personally offer fly fishing and horseback rides on a daily basis for guest and non guests of the cabins.

This property has a very unique location bordering a 400 acre state property which encompasses 1 mile of one of the best braided fishing sections of the Salt River. Besides wonderful fishing, the river invites many types of wildlife to it's banks.

There is no other property like this in Star Valley. The location on the river creates an atmosphere that is unique to staying at the Rockin' M. Mountain and river views, beautiful sunsets, onsite wildlife sitings, coyotes howling, swans, waterfowl, ospreys and bald eagles flying overhead, just a few of the common sites enjoyed at the Rockin' M Ranch. Many of our guests rarely need leave the cabin site to recreate. We offer daily horseback rides and guided fly fishing float trips from the ranch property.
