Whether you're looking for a peaceful getaway, a comfortable home base during medical rotations at the local Medical University, or a weekend immersed in nature, this home delivers. Enjoy the natural beauty of the Willamette Valley with easy access to hiking trails, river spots, and Foster Lake. You’re also a short drive to covered bridges and the charming small-town feel of downtown Lebanon, Sweet Home, or Brownsville.
This has been a project of love, joy, pain and a lot of hard work. This remodel was our most challenging yet, both on an emotional and physical level. As a kid, I worked with my dad building this cabin 50 years ago and unfortunately a lot of life happened and it was never finished. Then he became disabled with MS and it was neglected for many years. I promised him on his death bed I would make it habitable and something for him to be proud of. I hope we accomplished that with the updated renovations and changes while still maintaining some of the original cabin charm. Hopefully dad is smiling down on us as you get to enjoy his pride and joy.
The main floor includes a spacious living area, entertainment room, full kitchen, laundry and bathroom. Three bedrooms (2 Kings, 1 Queen, and 1 twin) and 1.5 Bathrooms are located upstairs and require the use of stairs.
6 miles from Magnolia Mountain Venue (wedding and event venue)
13 Miles from Western University of Health Sciences
11 Miles from Foster Lake
13 Miles from McDowell Creek Falls
