The property is wonderful and spacious. The cabin is well appointed and cozy. The hosts are amazing and very welcoming and gracious. Will definitely be back.
I couldn’t have stayed at a better place! The hosts are absolutely incredible, and the cottage is spotless, cozy, and perfectly set up. The views are so peaceful it feels like an instant reset. I brought my small dog, and he settled in right away—he loved it as much as I did. If you’re in the area, this is the perfect homey getaway!
My husband and I enjoyed an incredibly relaxing weekend during our stay at the cottage. The property is a beautiful 40 acres that is peaceful and serene. Our host, Brent, who lives on-site, was welcoming and friendly, but also provided us space and was prompt in his responses to questions we had via the app. The cottage was lovely. It is comfortable and wonderfully decorated with a variety of artwork. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable, and the shower was spacious with instantaneous hot water. The place came stocked with all the amenities you could ask for, and because our stay was short, we did not have time to enjoy the bull grill or the fire pit (Brent provides charcoal and firewood free of charge). My husband and I spent our evening on the back porch watching the birds, listening to the frogs, and enjoying the landscape. Even the coffee provided was delicious. We would definitely stay again and for longer next time.
It was really fun to say in such an artsy cottage. The space is very functional and the grounds are lovely. It was a very peaceful and restful stay. The bull barbecue pit was a hoot. We stayed here to attend the Halloween event at Powell Gardens which was worth the visit.
This place was amazing. Brent and Anita have set up your home away from home. A place where you walk in and know you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. While we unfortunately brought a snowstorm with us, the country side was still beautiful. The barnyard chickens treated us with fresh eggs that we had no problem preparing in their quaint kitchen. Anita’s flare for decor is testament in itself that your Welcome here!
The stay was perfect for spending some time with our UCM student grandson. Beautiful surroundings. Close to town but far enough for calm and serenity. Hosts were gracious and cabin included everything we needed. Very pet friendly. 10/10 will be back.
I cannot state enough how incredible our stay was here. It was my 6 year old son and myself. The hosts could not have made our stay any better. We were there to visit my son's father who is going through some very serious medical/health issues. These visits are never easy for my son, however, this stay was different. The hosts took my son to feed chickens, ducks, donkey's and he snuggled with their giant teddy bear dogs, Nanuk and Elsa. At one point there was even a rainbow over us. I don't know how they pulled that off, but it was a nice touch. My son was not ready to leave after our two nights there. He got to spend time with his dad, the animals, nature and we were at peace while we were there. I didn't even have to fight him about screen time. I cannot recommend this place enough. You will never want to leave. We will most certainly will be back there.
Our stay was amazing! The hosts are especially nice. Five star communication. The eclectic cottage is located in a charming country setting. Our grandchildren visited for a few hours to enjoy the animals on the property. They also loved making smores over the fire pit. The cottage was clean and comfortable. I'm already planning my next stay.
Loved the setting! Peaceful mornings on the porch and quiet evenings under the stars. My dog was so content roaming the extensive property. A short drive to Warrensburg—perfect for UCM parents. The hosts are welcoming and helpful and the cabin is artistic and beautifully appointed! Will definitely be back!!
Hosts Brent and Anita are welcoming and friendly. Made us feel like part of the family. They will do their best to help you out wherever they can.We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay here . From the lovely open spaces to the pets fresh country air, and even having a bbq with the bull it has been a most memorable and enjoyable stay.

You guys will have to come back and visit again we enjoyed having you and have made all upgrades as suggested except for one and it's in the works check out the new listing. Fire pit is on site.
Property is a hidden gem. Perfect spot to get away from it all but close enough to run into town and grab a bite. The sound of the rain on the metal roof was the icing on a very relaxing weekend. With 40 acres of property and groomed walking paths there was plenty to do. Host was super friendly and accommodating. Already planning a trip for this fall to enjoy the fire pit
Very nice and clean. Pet friendly! We enjoyed our stay. Host was very accommodating. Great place to relax and enjoy the country with your furry friend.
