THE APARTMENTS:
* INTERIOR: The apartment on the upper floor has a double room, a single room, a living room with kitchen, a bathroom and a balcony. A further bed can be added in the living room if required. The apartment on the lower floor has a double room with a bathroom arranged so as to be accessible also for disabled people and private kitchen. A further bed can be added in the anteroom if required.
* OUTSIDE: A large and bright patio, a garden full of plants and flowers, amidst some of the most unspoilt countryside.
Montecarotto: The idea of the Farmhouse stems from the genuine sense of hospitality and the habit to get in touch with different people which characterise the Petrolati’s family.
This is why, the family is extremely happy to have you as guests in one of its apartments.
The old farmhouse has been handsomely restored trying to recreate a country atmosphere while keeping abreast of the times.
LAgriturismo Respect for both nature and traditional architecture have been the very basis of the building choices.
All guests will perceive these feelings of love and devotion to peasant traditions and thus enjoy a taste of real country life.
The Marche shire: If guests wish to taste dishes strictly based on local tradition, Mariano and Quartina will be glad to provide them with the wholesome fruits of the earth and cook them as they used to in the past.
Among the main specialities, we can mention homebaked bread, tagliatelle, gnocchi (small potatoe dumplings), ‘polenta’ (thick maize porridge served with cheese or meat) and vincisgrassi (a rich baked lasagna without the usual tomatoes) cooked just like grandma used to.

All dishes will be savoured with the best “Verdicchio” wines of the Marches.
The region country side: In the area, vines, sunflowers, olive trees and wheat are the main cultivations.
The countryside is divided up into many plots of land where farmers ensure and carry on the old traditions.
Towards the East, the hills flatten out gradually into the beautiful beaches of Senigallia and Conero.
Towards the West, the Appennine slopes take to the fascinating landscapes of Monti Sibillini National Park and of the “Gola della Rossa” Park.
A quiet atmosphere together with the colours and scents of this land will provide an enchanting setting for a memorable journey in contact with nature.
