Alison was the perfect hostess, welcoming with lots of good info about Saluda and surrounding areas. The free standing apartment is almost downtown and has a lovely porch. You can’t go wrong renting here

What a great place to stay! The location is perfect with an easy walk to town. Everything was sparkling clean. The bed was super comfortable which is hugely important after a day of hiking and walking around. The kitchen was well equipped. We especially appreciated the filtered water! The hosts provided us with local recommendations for restaurants and things to do during our stay which we took advantage of, but frankly, the house was such a nice place to be that we found ourselves hanging out on the comfortable roofed porch more than expected. I highly recommend this place!

Saluda is our mountain retreat nestled on Smith Hill 2 blocks from town. The peacefulness, cool clean air and community spirit have drawn us to this location over the years.

Our Saluda Mountain Retreat is a newly built cottage with all the amenities of home. Our location on Smith Hill provides a quiet setting with dining, music, shopping and hiking right around the corner. We enjoy living here and the best part is the small town community spirit that Saluda is known for.
