Amazing property, good amenities, plenty of space. Lots of things to do indoors, games, pool, ping-pong, etc. Hiking, boating, fishing outdoors. The house is huge and comfortable.
Hemlock Point Lodge is beautiful, well appointed and comfortable for a large gathering. What we liked most about it is that it has a beautiful gathering room with a fireplace and windows that overlook the lake and adjoining that is a large game room that includes a pool table, air hockey table, foosball, and Pac-Man video game machine. The kids loved it and they were all on the same floor with the adults. The property is situated on 100 acres with a lake so it provided lots of hiking opportunities. There are plenty of bedrooms and baths to accommodate a large group. We went during the week between Christmas and New Year's, and there was a ton of snow, which was beautiful. However, the place would also be wonderful to go to in the summertime! I would highly recommend!
Loved having our own lake and being able to boat when we wanted. It was super calming and a great place to get a moment away from the craziness of the city! Will definitely stay again.
We stayed with a large group of people and though the weather didn't hold up for us, the house had plenty of indoor activities to keep everyone having fun all weekend.
Wonderful time. The house is exactly as pictured; very clean, beds comfortable. Plenty of room for 11 adults 3 children. Game room is a big hit for everyone. Loved watching Sunday football in there. The house is very warm and cozy and just makes you happy. All communication with the property manager was responded to quickly. Any issues with the house were dealt with right away by the owner. Really like this place. It was our second year, and we booked our third year while we were there.
Beautiful lodge on a private lake. Just phenomenal! Check-in was smooth. Kitchen facilities were excellent. They were plenty of plates, glasses cups utensils, and silverware. Also, plenty of countertop. Wi-Fi access was excellent. Game room is an excellent idea. There is a pool table, an air hockey table, a Pac-Man table and Roku TV and plenty of games to play along with DVDs.
Our stay at Hemlock Point was good. The boys enjoyed the fishing every day , caught many large bass and som pickerel. Beautiful, restful lodge.Unfortunately, air conditioning went out and host. Was unable to have fixed while we were there. The host was very accommodating with fans etc. we received a partial refund promptly
We had a great time. It was an amazing piece of property. Everyone had a blast from the adults to the kids. Highly recommend and will definitely rent this property again
The house’s layout was absolutely perfect for our 12 person family get away. With 2 sets of grandparents, the two main level bedrooms (each with an en-suite bathroom) came in handy. No need for climbing stairs. The game room kept everyone entertained during a snowy/rainy day and although it was a little chilly, we very much enjoyed paddling on the pond.
Perfect for a large group of adults and children. We had such a nice time. Everything we needed to cook large dinners was there, our host was very accommodating, quickly responsive and extremely helpful. We loved the house and look forward to staying there again!
We were 3 families coming from different places to meet up. We had 5 kids from 1-16 yo and 6 adults. We had plenty of room to spread out so that we all had quiet and privacy. There was also so much to do o. The property. We used the boats, had outdoor fires, played games inside. Just a great stay for everyone. I would highly recommend this as a great weekend retreat for a group.
We loved having the private lake just to ourselves. The spaciousness of the house allowed everyone to spread out. The game room was a life saver for those rainy days and allowed for us to put the screens down and have fun. The kitchen had plenty of room for all of us to share space. The location is very remote, so grocery shopping was a bit of a hassle, but that's the price you pay for privacy. Kitchen well stocked with equipment. Boat house well stocked with various flotation devices. Firepit was nice to have at night for smores (bench seating mostly with a few rocking chairs with backs).
