We had a wonderful stay at Larkin Cottage in Mendocino, CA! The cottage was a lovely, cozy place to relax and enjoy the charm of the Mendocino coast. One of our favorite amenities was the hot tub, which was a fantastic bonus and made our getaway even more relaxing. The cottage was a great home base for enjoying the area, and we truly appreciated having such a nice place to unwind. We would happily recommend Larkin Cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing coastal getaway and would love to stay here again!

This was our first visit to this property. We have visited Mendocino before for 2 to 3 nights but this is now our favorite location for future visits. Everything went perfectly and we enjoyed soaking in the Spa for 20 minutes each day. Looking forward to our future stays and this charming Cottage.

The Larkin Cottage is perfect for a couple. It is immaculately kept and charming, with lovely gardens and deck. The hot tub, the grill, and the fireplace worked well. The kitchen was small but well equipped with all the appliances and amenities needed for breakfasts and dinners. The comfortable bedroom and bathroom were fine for our stay; plenty of hot water. Guests should note that there is no washer or dryer for longer stays--we did laundry in Ft Bragg. The host, Linda, was available and helpful.

I completely agree with all the other very positive reviews! The next time I go to Mendocino. I will certainly see if this property is available! However, there are a few points worth mentioning:The bed is extremely comfortable and the hardness is adjustable. However, the height of the bed is very high, which could be an issue for people with mobility problems. Be careful not to lock yourself out! The main door will automatically lock after a few seconds. So if you're going in and out onto the deck, have the code with you or make sure the kitchen door is unlocked. Don't expect to do much cooking here. The kitchen is very small as you can see. If you bring in a rotisserie chicken and some salad, you'll be fine. But don't expect to cook full meals. The TV is very small and not “smart” (internet connected). It has cable, and you can reach Prime and YouTube. Internet for your phone or laptop is fine.If these aren't issues for you, go and stay at this beautiful and private cottage!

Everything was just as described. The hot tub was great! The landscaping was beautiful. Everything that I needed to prepare meals was in the kitchen. Loved the gift basket. We had a relaxing stay. We didn't want to leave. Next time I will reserve the cottage for longer. Such a relaxing beautiful place. Thank you.
The cottage was clean and nicely decorated.
Mendocino shopping was nearby.
Enjoyed seeing the Skunktrain.

We enjoyed our stay at Linda's Larkin Cottage very much and hope to return in the next few months. The cottage is in a terrific location and is super clean, sweetly set up, private, and comfortable. The hot tub was used every day and the view of the ocean from the hot tub (and the cottage itself) was nice.
