About this property
1918 Duplex with Character City Center
Summary:
Location is at the heart of every place we decide to stay. Whether you are coming in for a convention, visiting University City, the Arts, Rittenhouse, Chinatown, Queen Village, Gayborhood, or the Old Town. Our 1918 Duplex is the perfect place for you. Whole Foods, Restaurants, Dog Park, Bars, and shopping are all within walking distance from the apt. It's truly ideally located. There's also 24/7 garage parking just down the street for your convenience.
The Space:
Our Duplex apartment offers lots of old charm with a touch of modern furnishings, from its unique bi-level layout to the cozy fireplace. Enjoy hot coffee or tea from the spacious outdoor deck with city views. Prepare breakfast in the kitchen, which has two skylights. Or go for a nice brisk walk through the park. The space and location offer something for everyone.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire apartment. Though there is a limit of five people at a time on the deck (for everyone's safety). If your reservation requires special sleeping arrangements, please notify us in advance.
The Neighborhood:
Will update soon.
Getting Around:
Parking is difficult in nearly every city, as you can imagine. Fortunately, there's a 24/7 parking garage just down the block across the street from the park. It's connected to the same building as the CVS on the corner.
Other Things to Note:
Surveillance camera located by the entryway stairs leading up to the apt by the stairwell. Decibel monitoring devices are located in the living room, dining, and patio. Handrail leading up into the bedrooms/kitchen-dining area is on the side of the wall only (as shown in the photos). We do not recommend this listing for kids or the elderly.
Please keep in mind this is a much older apartment than the traditional cookie cutter apartments which is what gives it its character. However, that also means it comes with its challenges aesthetically and functionally.
Example: sink drainage may not be as fast as you’re used to
Some sloping ceilings may look off-putting.
If minor details like this and others will bother you, we advise you to please not book our apartment and seek other accommodations that will meet your standards. We want everyone who stays to feel comfortable and believe in setting expectations before you make your choice in booking with us.
Thank you for your consideration!
Interaction with Guests:
I love socializing, but I give my guests their space. Should you have any questions or concerns, I am easily reachable through here or my mobile phone.
