Host is terrible! Messaged me night before our arrival indicating “electrical issue” with unit and offered an alternative location which I accepted after viewing listing. Instructions for accessing the alternative location did not permit opening of lock box. Tried contacting host who knew we had a late arrival to no avail. We were forced to go to a hotel for the night. Slow communication and blaming me for a faulty lock box that wouldn’t open forced us to the hotel another night as we missed a check out time after the host checked the lock box. Promised me video of the “working” lockbox which I never received. Do not recommend staying with this host.

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
Check in was at 4pm we arrived around 8pm and the host had not sent any check in instructions to access the property. After reaching out to the host I was given an entirely different address to go to because the rental I booked was experiencing “electrical issues”. One would think the host would relay this information before hand but unfortunately there was no communication until I reached out. Anyway, we proceeded to the new location which was in a very sketchy neighborhood and the property had a for rent side in the yard. As soon as I messaged the host to let them know I arrived I was then sent A DIFFERENT ADDRESS!!! At this point we were totally under the impression we had been scammed. I messaged the host several times asking to speak over the phone and was completely ignored each time. After arriving to the 3rd property we were met with crowds of people standing on the corner smoking and listening to loud music. The property also had sheets over windows and was completely dark. We were in no way comfortable and felt that this could possibly be a set up so we decided we were just done with the situation and asked for a refund. After asking for the refund the host suggested ANOTHER rental we could stay but at that point we were over it. We were sure this whole thing was a scheme and it really put a bad taste in our mouths. The “host” did end up issuing a refund but I still feel in no way this was a legit rental. Be careful
