Casa Papaya boasts a very large private pool area with a pool rancho . Casa Papaya offers complete comfort for up to 5 couples plus 1 . With 3 king size beds and 2 queen size beds and 1 single bed choosing a room will be no problem . Casa Papaya recently upgraded with new air conditioning through out makes every single room very confortable even during the hottest months of the year .

Casa Papaya provides maid service and laundry service. Beaches, supermarkets, restaurants, gift shops, bars and nightclubs are all minutes away by foot. Casa Papaya is the perfect vacation getaway. June 2025 Casa Papaya Villa - Tamarindo CR

Overall a very enjoyable stay in a very nice 5 bedroom property. Only concerns were some mechanical issues with security gate (which were addressed and resolved promptly) and house could use some TLC in spots (many roof tiles broken/missing and some minor areas inside could use some sprucing up). Those minor issues did not affect our ability to have a fantastic week in Tamarindo. Would give Casa Papaya two thumbs up, would recommend and would definitely stay there again. Favorite part of the property was the outdoor area in and around the pool/waterfall. Pura Vida!

This is an amazing place to stay for a large group staying in Tamarindo. This was the second time we’ve stayed here. We love having a private place but close to town. This property offers everything you need from comfortable bedrooms, cooking needs and private pool.

Great stay. The house was great and the pool area was amazing. It’s walking distance to town, but renting carts make it much easier. The staff and are house are top notch.

Such an amazing property. It's really hard to do it justice with pictures, but our group agreed it was hands down the best place we'd ever stayed. The location was also perfect for heading out and checking out all tamarindo had to offer.

Casa Papaya for the win!

We had a lot of plans during our 2 week stay with our group and I can honestly say that without the comforts and relaxation that this place afforded us we wouldnt have pulled it off. Such great ambiance and the vibe was perfect. From Howlers in the morning to pool side waterfalls in the evening it was magical everyday and nite. Gated parking for our van was ideal. The staff was amazing and very attentive, keeping the place spotless for us the whole time. So fun and amazing that there is no way we wont be back next year and I cant wait!

Great experience all the way around. The in-house staff was awesome. Highly recommend having them cook breakfast and afternoon appetizers. Good location for going to the beach and Restaurants. Having a golf cart was key.

Casa Papaya

We had a great time at Casa Papaya. We loved the large living and kitchen areas and the pool. The only thing we didn’t like was there was no comfortable seating. The kitchen was well stocked and the linens were plentiful. Thank you for a great time.

Lovely Stay in a Wonderful, Spacious Tamarindo Home

Lots of outdoor space; an amazing pool w/ a waterfall and a gargantuan modern kitchen w everything needed to have a great family vacation. Tons of outdoor space to enjoy the luxurious weather. Carolina and Brian were quite helpful and true to their words . Angie and Ricardo were quite an aid as well ... tks all for a memorable , warm family getaway

This house was amazing. It's a compound with electronic gate within a 2 minute walk to town and the beach. Huge pool area with gazebo. The master bedroom has a fantastic view and balcony. The kitchen level also has a huge balcony with amazing views and Infiniti cold tub. We couldn't have aske for a better house. Brian King set us up with maid who cleaned everyday. We also had a chef come in and cool us breakfast each morning. Hugo was the grounds person and he wa there everyday and fantastic as well. We had 10 guys and all for comfortably. Definitly reccommend this house to anyone going to Tamarindo Costa Rica.

Great for a Large Group and Very Close to the Beach & Downtown

Casa Papaya is an amazing property. The location is perfect – a short walk to the beach and down town. There are 5 large bedrooms with one of the most amazing views of Tamarindo Beach from the top floor master suite. The yard is huge and meant for fun with a deep pool that can handle second story jumps from the two story Palapa. There is also an outdoor shower, awesome waterfall and 10 person Jacuzzi. We had 11 people comfortably stay at the estate; however, you could easily fit more if needed. Brian King is the property manager who made the booking and payment process very straight forward and simple. Have no worries about the international wire transfer of funds – this is legit. To our pleasant surprise there were also two housekeepers who showed up daily to keep the property tidy. Their names were Hugo and Janet and they were really wonderful people who actually made our stay even more special than we expected. You will be more than happy should you choose to stay at Casa Papaya.

Fantastic Property!

This is just a fantastic property located a short walk from Tamarindo and the beach. There is plenty of room to spread out, and the outdoor living space cannot be beat! The pool and waterfall are so fun, and having the palapa to relax on, or jump into the pool from is also very fun. The house is clean and well maintained. The bedroom spaces are great and plenty of bathrooms too! Jugo and Janet are the warmest people, and provide such a great touch to the property. Jugo maintains a beautiful garden and can fix anything, and Janet keeps a clean house and does great laundry! She is also very knowledgable local cuisine and just lovely. We loved feeding the pretty birds that visited us in the morning as well. The kids loved everything about the house too. We would definitely rent this property again. One negative, no air conditioning on the main floor. We were there in summer, and it can get quite warm without air conditioning on this level. Other times of year its probably fine.

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Papaya!! The entire staff was absolutely amazing! They cooked us breakfast that was some of the best Costa Rican food we have ever tasted. The home was kept so clean and all the appliances and AC units worked properly. The home had a lot of your basic necessities and the beds and furniture were very comfortable. The town is adorable and the beach is majestic. We used a golf car to get around and it was the perfect way to explore. The pool and pool house was an amazing addition and gave us an opportunity to grill poolside. I cannot recommend this place enough. We want to return again next year.

Excellent Stay with Great Pool Area

Very nice home that was as advertised. Great communication with property manager and friendly staff. Helpful guidance on tours and restaurants in advance. We spent lots of time in the well landscaped back yard and pool. The home is well located for town, the beach and a grocery store. We rented a golf cart and would recommend that to anyone that does not want to walk on uneven, unpaved roads at night.

Beautiful home, Fantastic Location

Loved our stay here in Tamarindo. Beautiful home, everyone loved the pool area. Did not have a rental car but renting golf carts was perfect to get around town and to the beach. Very clean and well kept. House staff were wonderful. Easy to get in touch with property manager with anything needed, quick response. Wonderful experience. Family of 7, with kids age 11-19.

Beautiful Oasis!!!!!

Everything about our trip was 5 star! Working with the team of managers, including Carolina and the entire staff at Casa Papaya was a delight. So accommodating! We loved the location. The house and the beautiful gardens surrounding the home were lush. Everything was very clean and tidy at all times. Great house and location

Brian and his team were amazing from start to finish. Brian went out of hus way right at checkin to accomodate a request from one of our family members. Ricardo, Angie, Diana and others were super friendly and did a great job keeping the place spotless including laundry and dishes. The house is very close to everything. The kids really loved the 2 pools and spent as much time in those as they did at the beach.

We absolutely loved staying here, it was close to everything we needed to be close to and very close to the main strip of town. We loved the pool and felt we had everything we needed at the house to ensure a great vacation! Highly recommend to a big (8-10) group of people!
