This VRBO double booked us and didn’t realize it until we were 5 minutes from the place. It didn’t give us much time to find another place. Thankfully the host was gracious to let is stay in a nearby suite adjacent to the place we booked for one night and refund us for the whole booking. However, we had to book two more nights at a totally different stay (there wasn’t much available) which then cost us 300 more than our 3 night stay would have cost us at this VRBO stay and the extra cost to us was not covered by the host or VRBO for the booking mistake. I can’t necessarily speak to the room in this ad but the back up room they let us stay in for one night had a good amount of black mold in the bathroom and could use a deep clean in a few places of the bedroom (by the headboard and beside the couch). The suites seemed to have really old walls, poor painting jobs, black mold in the bathrooms and just were not places I would stay for more than 2 nights or so.
