Condo was just “ok” for the money and location

For the price, I was not all that excited. Yes it is in Oceanside but this condo is on the opposite side of the ocean and has a view of a very busy highway, a parking lot and a noisy construction site. AC was out for a day, closet doors are folding metal and must be wrestled to open and close. Lights in the condo were scarce, none in master and living room and no dresser in master for clothes. Beds were nice and some parts of condo have been updated, glass surrounding most of unit was nice. Pool is gorgeous.

Michele, we're sorry to hear your stay fell short of your expectations. We and the homeowner take feedback seriously as we aim for every guest to have a 5-star experience. We hope their immediate efforts to have an AC repair company come out to have it fixed were able to make up for any inconveniences experienced. The road you're referring to isn't a highway but instead the iconic Florida A1A, and since the island is quaint and small, you can hear it. The homeowner takes great pride in the condo and has recently updated it to include brand new TVs, faster wifi, full HD quality cable, new cabinets and top-quality beds. We wish we would have known about your disappointment, as the owner would have been more than willing to assist. We are confident future guests will have exceptional stays here! Crescent Beach Condo

Spacious condo with nice furnishings and lots of windows with a beautiful view of the inter coastal and peekaboo view of the Atlantic. Great location to St Augustine and Flagler Beach. This place has many wonderful features but needs work! 1. All 3 door screens need to be repaired 2. Need light bulbs (3 burned out) 3. 1 dining room chair broken (unsafe) 4. Blinds not functional! Old and Dirty! Missing several slats. 5. No base trim throughout the entire condo! Why? 6. Walls needs to be washed or painted. Dirty! 7. AC wall vents are disgusting 8. Fan blades need to be dusted. We turned them on and the dust went everywhere. 9. Condo needs a deep cleaning and needs to be de cluttered! Sorry to be so tough on this review but we also own rental property in Venice, Florida and our place is clean and has none of these issues. Sorry, Keith & Donna R

We only rented this place for three nights. The unit was not cleaned when we arrived. This caused a delay in checkin. Overall, happy with unit and location. Owner needs to do come maintenance on dinning room chairs and screen door going to porch. Other than than, beds and the unit was comfortable .

Nice apartment in a great location

We enjoyed our stay and loved the apartment and the location. Short walk to the beach, close proximity to the city and nice restaurants. The owner is great to communicate with and was responding in a quick and accommodating manner. We will be definitely staying here again if we are back in the area.

A hidden gem!!

I would stay at this place every summer if I had the opportunity. The condo is amazingly kid friendly. We have a one-year-old that traveled with us and I didn’t worry about her breaking anything or wondering around in the condo on her own. The beach wasn’t crowded at all during our entire stay. Everything was absolutely perfect!!!

Family friendly getaway!

My family and I enjoyed an 8 day stay at this beautiful condo located on the beach. Our party included myself, my wife, our god daughter age 14, son age 7 and daughter who is almost two. The condo was perfect for all of us as well as fully equipped for the baby! They had strollers, pack a pack and play and even a high chair. This was huge for us and a great help. The condo is very cozy with a huge fnaily room and wrap around balcony with views of the ocean as well as the other side of A1A. The beach was amazing and you have a private access from the condo complex. It is quiet and was not overly crowded once during our stay. The owners were amazing at communicating with us and giving us information to make our stay as good as it could be! We will for sure be returning to the condo only for a longer period of time! Thanks guys! See you next year!

Spacious condo - easy access to beach

Condo had comfortable beds, plenty of towels, dishes and kitchen utensils. The TVs offered many channels and WiFi was very fast and secure. The closet doors and verticle blinds should be repaired or replaced. The condo has lots of windows, with a view of the street and construction next door. However, the access to the beautiful beach and ocean is as easy as walking to the end of the corridor and stepping outside. They are also doing some maintenance repair on the Ocean House condo building. I noticed several other condos in this complex provided this information in the description and offered a reduced rate, but there was no mention of it for this condo. Kim and Meghan were both very helpful with any questions or concerns during our stay.

Enjoyed - Would Stay Again

We enjoyed the condo and the complex. Clean, steps away from the beach, quiet, all the things we look for. A couple of things we would have like to have known prior to arrival is that there is a fee to do laundry, "if you use it, replace it" and "wash and put away all dishes before the 10am checkout" policies on items in the condo . Now that we know, we would come prepared.

Amazing!!!

The place was excellent. I had my in-laws and two small children and it was a dream. Beautiful condo with easy access to the pool and beach. My two year old daughter cried her eyes out when we left her "Florida Home". I can say nothing but positives about the stay.

My daughters and I had a great time here for our girls getaway! Megan was very responsive and cordial when I had questions. The condo was well equipped, the A.C. ran well, the beds were comfy and she has chairs on the balcony to sit and have coffee in the am and see the sunset over the inlet in the pm. Wi-Fi and cable worked great. The only downfall was that construction was going on next door, but it was only an issue first thing in the am. The beaches are great for walking, biking, kite flying, or just relaxing. Bring a tent if you can because the weather was amazing and we didn't want to leave the beach except to have lunch or go to dinner. I'd stay here again and would recommend it if you are in the area. 😁

Everything went very well, like the spot and the condo. Only miss, is the pool should be heated. Especially when we travel in march, where the temperature could be a little chilly.

Nice condo. Misleading description of location

See dunes and hear waves from the modern dining table? “Ocean side balcony”? I don’t think so. The only thing you’re going to hear from the dining/living room is the traffic going by on a1a which is what all those windows face out on with a very nice view of the condo parking lot. On the side balcony If you crane your neck you can glimpse the Atlantic. The reality is that this very nicely decorated condo basically faces away from the beach. (South and west. Ocean is to the east). That is not ocean front in my book and not at all what we were expecting. To the south there is a construction site with a bright light that shines inthe bedroom window making it impossible to have the. Door/shades open at night. None of this clear from the very misleading description and pix. Weirdly there are no lights in the bedroom or over the dining table. On the plus side, you do get a magnificent view of the sunset. And it is very close to the beach.

Beautiful Condo

We enjoyed our stay at Ocean House. The owners and management were very attentive and cooperative. The condo has been updated and has a very light, airy and modern feel to it making it the perfect retreat. All of the furnishings are new and the beds were especially comfortable. We also loved the location, especially the convenient beach access. The beach was not crowded and very clean. I would recommend this property as it was a perfect fit for our family of four.

Great Beach Vacation

We enjoyed staying here very much. The owners have made this unit very comfortable and have stocked it with everything you need for a great stay. Access to the beach was very easy and the pool was great. This area is quiet and beaches were not crowded at all. We look forward to staying here again.
