About the host
Hosted by Chris Moore

We are Chris and Hannah! We are high school sweethearts from right here in Waynesville, NC. Chris is a general contractor and solely built these two barndos that just finished construction in June 2025. Our family's hobby is drag racing. Chris, as well as Hannah's dad and brother all own drag cars and our family travels the country racing in the stick shift class.
We are new to hosting but look forward to providing a 5 star experience to everyone who books our barndos!

Why they chose this property
We purchased this 30 acre family compound back in 2021 after Hannah’s mother passed away from colon cancer at 51. Hannah’s father, along with her brother and his family, and her aunt and uncle all sold their former houses and bought this property to be closer together.
We quickly fell in love with the big open fields surrounded by the gorgeous mountain views from every angle.
After building our own homes, we decided to share a little piece of our land with YOU!

What makes this property unique
Our rentals are the only vacation barndominiums in the area! This sets them apart from the typical cabin/farmhouse listings that are popular. Their unique design and architecture make them one of a kind here in Western North Carolina.
