Kate was the best host I could’ve asked for. She was prompt with communication, detailed, and so incredibly friendly and welcoming. She greeted us personally on her property and made sure we had all of the comforts we could’ve hoped for. The property itself was absolutely idyllic and had every comfort imaginable. Overall one of the best cared for short term rentals I have ever stayed in. Gorgeous, thoughtfully stocked house -- from full sets of dishes and many cooking implements, to lavender sachets, apples, and an impressive array of bathroom necessities. The house, especially the main bedroom and its en suite bathroom, is spacious... but the real treat was the gorgeous backyard, at the far end of which is a couple of chairs to sit in and be with the south fork of the Snoqualmie river.I was in town to teach a one-day class about five minutes away, and it was such a delight and a relief to come back here to crash after 9 hours of facilitating totally drained me.Look forward to finding an excuse to stay here again!

Kate was fantastic and greeted us as soon as we arrived. The house was spotless, and the setting was one of the best we’ve ever experienced. It had everything you could possibly need for a great stay. I honestly can’t think of a single thing I’d change. It’s clear why her property has a 5-star rating—it’s well deserved. If we’re ever back in the area, we’ll definitely stay at her place again.

Wonderful stay with Kate as our host. Like stepping back in time but with every thoughtful amenity you could ever need. The electricity went out in the middle of the night and at some point a generator was started for us. So nice to wake up to lights and heat. Wish we could have stayed longer. Hopefully we will be back!

The rental is a large beautifully built modern 2 bedroom duplex attached to a gorgeous home on a beautifully landscaped large quiet riverfront property with a private driveway about 3/4 miles off highway 90. River is very peaceful, was enjoyable to sit and read and just listen to the river. Kate was a extremely joyful, kind and giving host with a beautiful smiling personality. She had many items in fridge and pantry that she welcomed us to enjoy. There is a great restaurant - The South Fork walking distance from the rental. Excellent food and great outdoor seating with a great space. Was a great stay!We highly recommend Kate's - Serene Riverfront Retreat!!

THE best rental I’ve stayed at. Cleaner than my own home and yes my home is clean. Fridge stocked with drinks. Charger in every room. She thinks of ALL the little things that no one else does. I didn’t even need to pack half the stuff I brought! Kate is a DOLL. Close to food, hiking, nature, drinks. Just the perfect oasis in Washington and I’ll be back. Comfy beds… so perfect!
