Overall we really enjoyed our stay and time away from the city. The property was beautiful and felt very welcoming. The home was clean and cozy. I hosted a meditation retreat here and the guest felt comfortable and right at home.A few items that kept me from giving this property 5 starts are the following; the dogs barking in the basement. Although they wouldn't carry on for long, they barked often enough to be disruptive. The dishwasher also didnt work throughout our stay which wasn't ideal, especially for 8 people. And neither kitchen sink held water when plugged to wash the dishes. The kitchen was stocked to the brim with every type of dish wear. We were really greatful for that! Unfortunately a lot of it wasnt that clean which im guessing had to do with a dishwasher thats been on the fritz!I really appreciated the thoughtfully labeled items in the kicthen like the coffee, tea, sugar, ect. They were however low on some key items. The furniture in the pictures match, but the decor doesnt. There was a combination of Christmas, easter and fall decor throughout the home with a lot of items tacked down to the surfaces giving it a different feel then the pictures. Minor but definitely throws off the feeling of the space. In conclusion we were happy with the space and loved being outdoors and away from the city. * Please note that if you want a fire, you will need to bring your own wood
