The beautiful Italian Villa was everything we hoped for. The place has the historic feel with all the modern amenities you need. The space was perfect for our extended family. We held a small family reunion and the open kitchen/dining area worked perfectly. The kitchen was well stocked, the entire place was spotless and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

We have been in the long term Rental Home business since 2017. We purchased the Italian charm villa in 2024 and worked on it for a year before opening it up for short term Rental guests. I am a Respiratory Therapist and my wife and daughter clean and decorate the property.

Why they chose this property

This is a quiet neighborhood with a large 1/3 acre lot near the train which has always been an integral part of the history of this property.

What makes this property unique

This italianate home was built in 1875 as one of the first in Newton by 3 major investors and business men that established the railroad through Kansas. Judge Muse, Captain Spivey, and Robert Vickrey. Carriage house in back with 4 stalls
