About this property

Private, quiet oasis right in the middle of all the action of CB!

This is one of three vacation rentals on the property. There are two other units on the property, one two bedroom (VRBO #557429) and one studio (listed on A ir bnb). The units can be rented separately or together to sleep 6, 12 or 14. Two of the units have direct access to the pool.

This one bedroom cottage has a large private bedroom with a king bed and a seating area as well as a private exit to the patio. Captains bunks in the hallway sleep two (best for kids to teens) and a pull out couch allow this unit to sleep a total of six. It's perfect for families or a group of friends.

This is a private single story stand alone bungalow. So, no upstairs or downstairs neighbors or shared walls with other units!

This is our home away from home and is set up for peace, comfort and enjoyment. There is a full kitchen that is stocked with all the supplies you need for wonderful meals or a quick bite. Including a full size fridge, range, microwave, and dishwasher. The bath includes a deep soaking tub and shower. There is also an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. There is also a washer and dryer in the unit for your use. Reservations to not include linens. They can be rented; contact host for more information.

It is just a block and a half from the beach and the boardwalk so you are right in the middle of the action but as soon as you get back 'home' you will experience the peace and quiet of a private residence. The cottage is surrounded by a variety of delightful outdoor space with plenty of sun or shade areas to relax. The front of the exterior has a small garden space and a large patio with seating. The side courtyard has an area for pets and the back has a large beautiful in-ground pool with palms and flowers. Pets are not allowed in the pool area. The pool is only shared with two other units. One unit is a two bedroom vacation rental and the other unit is a long term rental occupied by the property's caretakers.

Best Family Beach Place Ever!

Been here a few times and it never disappoints! Each stay you notice the good upkeep and care giving to this place. There is enough space the whole family, comfortable furnishings, both inside and out, pool, grill, kitchen nicely stock, and even the laundry is convenient. Walkable to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Just can’t say enough great things and am looking forward to coming back.

Home away from home

This is our 4th year staying at this property and i cant say i would stay anywhere else. The pool area is incredible and the recent updates to the property are amazing. We cannot wait to come back next year!!

Nice Get-away

Owner is wonderful, creative and has done an amazing job. This was our first vacation at a VRBO. We usually stay at fully furnished cabins or hotels/motels.. so we were not fully prepared for no paper towels/only the toilet paper that was on the roll...but live and learn. Rebecca accommodated us in every way we asked. She is a perfect host...I think we were just "spoiled" and not used to it.Anyway, would we do it again? Yes!

Really enjoyed the pool and such an easy, quick walk to the beach. Fun to sit in front and listen to the band playing (toward the beach). Plenty of places to walk my Lily dog. The whole cottage was FULLY equipped and so nice. Neighboring visitors were very nice. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Hope to come back soon!

Beautiful property

My kids and I had such a nice time at Carolina beach with our pup. We literally walked everywhere! The house is set up beautifully for a family with pet(s). We were able to check in a bit early which was really nice too! Will definitely try to stay again and love that it would work so well to rent multiple units all together.

Wonderful stay! The cottage was perfect for our small family, we LOVED it! The place was nice and clean, host is super friendly and nice and the location of the house is just perfect! You couldn't ask for more! My daughter loved the pool!! We look forward to returning again next year! The only recommendation I have is to bring your own mattress topper!! The king bed is pretty rough, but could easily be fixed with a memory foam topper or something

We had a relaxing stay. It was quiet. The cottage was absolutely gorgeous. Just a short walk to the beach. The weather was great. The neighborhood is beautiful and everyone we met were so friendly.

Adorable cottage in the heart of it all

Walking into the cottage was like a breath of fresh air after a long trip. Rebecca has truly thought of everything and lovingly decorated the space. We absolutely loved the pool and yard area. It’s so centrally located we only got in the car a few times and didn’t have to drive far to check out the Kure Pier or the State Park, kayak the river, or check out historical sites. We had a great time, and are already planning our next visit. Thank you! The only change I might make is adding a railing and grab bar to the top bunk. My kids aren't used to bunk beds and we were kind of worried about somebody falling from the top bunk.

Absolutely perfect!

We were only able to take a quick trip due to school sports and sad we couldn’t stay longer! This property is amazing and in the most perfect location to everything downtown and the beach. The host is super responsive and was gracious enough to let us in a bit early due to the storm yesterday when we arrived. The property was SPOTLESS and very comfortable. The pool area is amazing and will definitely return for a longer stay.

There was nothing that the owner did not think of for this property. So well maintained, clean, everything worked properly, well decorated, beautiful gardens, location walkable to everything, ample parking, house supplied very well, comfortable furniture, lots of TV options, pool is great. Hidden Gem

My husband and I celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary. We had an amazing time staying in this hidden gem. We really didnt need to leave the property because we felt like we were at our own little resort. We went to the beach which is a very short walk. When I walked into the house I felt the stress leave my body and looking outside gave me ZEN. The owner is very kind and her furbaby Fran is so adorable. Did I mention it is pet friendly and the owner is a dog person, so that makes it extra special. If you have a large family there are options that you can rent the entire property. Don't miss the chance to spend a relaxing time at this hidden gem.

My name is Rebecca Triplett. I purchased this property and lived there with family for several years. Family obligations drew us back to our home state of Minnesota but we just could not part with this treasure. We made this unit into a weekly rental so we will have a place to stay when we visit and hopefully still pay the mortgage :-) It was a fixer upper to say the least when I bought it. We have made a ton of improvements and continue to make changes to make it a wonderful vacation for our guests.

Why they chose this property

I was looking for access to the beach and a pool but still wanted to have a quiet and private space. I did not like having to deal with the crowds, traffic noise and party atmosphere of the strip along the ocean but then I found this treasure! It is so close to the beach as well as all of the activities Carolina Beach has to offer. The house is right next to all the stuff you'll want to experience. Once you get to the bungalow you could just leave your car and walk to everything you would like to do. You can literally sit on the front patio and watch the Thursday night fireworks and smell the donuts cooking at Brits! The pool is as large or larger than some of the pools at the hotels in the area but virtually private. You will feel like you are in an oasis. I love to cook and have had some bad experience with rental properties saying they had a well stocked kitchen but did not. Don't worry about that here. I have made sure I have all the tools I need to have fun with my cooking hobby.

What makes this property unique

This is a one story unit. There are no stairs to get in, or once you get in. Trust me, this is a great feature! No hauling all your things up and down all those stairs! There is exterior space for children to play with a gate to separate that space from the pool. We are a pet friendly unit. We love pets!!! But to us that does not just mean that we allow pets. The unit is designed with flooring that allows for good clean up between rentals. It is mostly tile with a low pile carpet in the bedroom. This unit also has plenty of parking. Unlike many units that only allow one car, we have private parking for three vehicles and unlimited parking right next to the unit along the road.
